As Wu Heng spoke, the nails on his left hand suddenly grew three inches longer. He carved a string of incantations into his chest, and grayish-white flames burst from the wounds, reducing Ron's entire church to ashes.
Ron and Jeff, standing obliviously at the entrance, did not even have time to scream before they were consumed by the flames.
Three hate-filled laughs rang out from within the fire—voices belonging to Satan, Lucifer, and the Goat-Man Devil.
Wu Heng, however, remained where he was.
With merely a shift of his gaze, the scene before him changed. The burned church, along with Ron and Jeff at the entrance, reappeared. The two of them continued talking, utterly unaware.
The burning had truly happened, but the environment and people from before had already been silently drawn into the Dream Realm by Wu Heng. What had burned was only a layer of dream.
Reality had not been harmed.
All of it depended on Wu Heng's thoughts. If he wished to project it into reality, then reality would suffer the disaster. If he did not, it was nothing more than an illusion. The struggle of the "deceitful" trait represented by the Goat-Man Devil was futile.
The instant Wu Heng left the church, the Goat-Man Devil's demonic labyrinth appeared before him again. Every time he turned a corner, another part of his body took on goat-like characteristics.
When he reached the exit, he found Satan's black-water pool beyond the door. Countless melting versions of "himself" lay sunken at the bottom.
After those figures struggled to rise to the surface, he found himself standing upon Lucifer's judgment platform. Lucifer's face, split into three petals, appeared beside him, seemingly intending to pass judgment.
