"Dean!" Sam saw the bluish-black veins bulging along his neck and the instant bloodshot redness in his eyes. It was already too late to stop him.
"Cut the crap. Activate the confinement array," Dean growled, his voice turning hoarse and strange.
He leaped straight off the several-meter-high fortification, smashing a shallow crater into the ground as he landed, then launched a countercharge at the first wave of Purgatory creatures surging in like a tide beyond the defensive line!

It had no head in the conventional sense. Its upper body consisted of seven or eight thick tentacles tipped with enormous mouths or eyeballs, while its lower body was supported by countless arthropod-like legs. Every step made the earth tremble.
It noticed Dean, the little bug radiating that irritating light, and casually lashed a tentacle toward him, so fast it produced a sonic boom!
Dean did not dodge.
Roaring, he poured every bit of power the potion had forced from his body into the bone blade and slashed viciously upward at the tentacle!
"Clang—!!"
