Martin brought up another image.
Crowley sat on his throne, surrounded by his personal guards. His expression was even uglier than Mammon's, but there was something complicated in his eyes. This was footage Kyle had recorded.
"He's waiting," Martin said with a frown.
Wu Heng nodded.
"Waiting for what?"
Martin thought for a moment.
"For us to kill Mammon, so he can come out and clean up the mess."
Wu Heng rose and walked to the window, looking at the darkness in the distance lit by the flames of war.
"He'll regret it."
Hell's desert region, outside Mammon's stronghold.
Karim crouched in the sand, all twelve scorpion tails pointed toward the sky. His amber vertical pupils fixed on the energy fluctuation rapidly approaching from ahead.
"It comes." His deep voice brimmed with excitement.
Thomas gripped the Hunter Blade tightly and stood beside him.
A black line rose on the horizon ahead.
It was Mammon's Demonized Angel force, retreating from reality back into hell. But they did not know that someone was waiting beneath this passage.
Karim opened his mouth and let out a piercing howl.
Beneath the sand, countless infernal creatures began to move. Abyss Chewers burst from underground and tore into the Demonized Angels at the front. Dreamweavers' psychic attacks sent those flying in the air plummeting down, while Soul-Devouring Worms wrapped around those trying to escape.
Thomas charged in.
The Hunter Blade flashed, and heads fell one after another.
Elena's ice magic array rose from the rear, freezing every Demonized Angel attempting to break through in place.
