The Milkman's figure appeared within the Hell Portal, watching the scene in reality.
Reality's sunlight tried to shine into Hell, only to vanish completely at the portal, as though one were looking up at a well's mouth through its depths.
Numerous Cenobites stood respectfully on either side of the portal, likewise looking toward reality.
The Milkman's figure at the very front blocked half the view, yet the Cenobites did not dare utter a word, nor did they dare look directly at him.
They could only peer through the gap beside him and watch what was happening in reality.
The Milkman suddenly spoke. He seemed to be talking to himself, yet also seemed to be telling the Cenobites, his tone as though he were displaying his masterpiece.
He said lightly, "Spencer, prove yourself to me! Let us wait and see how far you can go down this path."
Only after hearing Harry D'Amour's words did the Cenobites finally understand.
Leviathan had created a life—a life that violated the morality of human souls. It was something that should not have existed in this world, yet it existed nonetheless.
That made them shudder.
The Milkman continued, "An exceptional experiment with extraordinary thoughts—primitive, real, yet constantly evolving."
"When a species rewrites its own instincts upon the path of seeking self-destruction, it is already equivalent to receiving a gift, just like the Box of Mourning Spencer received in his dream."
"Integrating one's memories is the first step toward accepting torture. Choosing to open the gift is the second."
"Before a soul leaves its mark upon this world's rules and powers, if it were given a second choice, how would it choose?"
"Is this not precisely the ultimate result of the beauty of suffering?"
He went on by himself, speaking words that were difficult to understand.
