He desperately drove out the black viscous fluid, gathering it all into the index and ring fingers of his left hand.
The sacrificial power within his body stacked layer upon layer.
He blocked the black fluid as much as possible, preventing it from flowing into other parts of his body again.
He could sense that this fluid already belonged to him. This was the authority of the Black Coffin.
As for the nature of his current power, it was incapable of fully merging with this force.
Yet this also allowed him to glimpse a higher level.
Having contained the black fluid, Spirit Sacrifice regained his reason and took control of his body once more.

Night Rain breathed a sigh of relief.
Spirit Sacrifice lowered his head and looked at his palm. The ring finger and index finger of his left hand had already turned completely black.
A cold, sinister aura emanated from those two fingers, and they could no longer move.
They were like two popsicles embedded in his palm, except they showed no sign of melting and would not easily fall off.
