"It smells a little bad." Ash sniffed behind him and wrinkled his nose.
The lesser demon Eligos, fashioned into a backpack, trembled slightly. The wails sealed within its body could not fully escape.
Yet through bone conduction, Ash could hear them clearly.

Ash suddenly yanked on the straps over his shoulders, formed from the demon's spine being pulled out of its body.
Eligos instantly felt a heart-rending pain rip through its entire body. Its limbs, tail, and head all curled up involuntarily.
Like a slaughtered chicken whose tendons had been yanked—its thighs would curl up.
