After observing carefully, Ron finally nodded. "This corpse and the deep pit did indeed come from the same force, but how can I be sure you weren't the ones who released it?"
Kevin pulled a sheet of paper from his pocket. Three symbols were drawn on it.
One was a human figure inside a triangle; another was a mound of earth inside a triangle; and the last was something resembling a tornado inside a triangle.
"These are the three demons I've dealt with recently. Apparently, four demons escaped into reality. Their goal was to open a passage and summon a fallen angel into the real world.
"I've already sent three of them back, but I haven't been able to find the fourth.
"Look at that deep pit. It means the legendary fallen angel Lilith has already come to the human world. She killed that man to gain power, and now she's nearby.
"But we don't know where she is. We were just using music to lure her out, and then you showed up!"
Kevin quickly explained their situation.
Priest Ron sensed the power within Kevin, as well as the complete lack of disturbance in his soul when he spoke. His conviction was strong enough for Ron to determine that the two were telling the truth.
More importantly, he knew that the fourth demon Kevin mentioned, along with the symbol representing it, was the demon that had possessed him and yet killed him.
It was because he had experienced the power of those flames scorching his soul that he was certain Kevin was telling the truth.
"Golden Jar Company? A company established in the human world by devils?" Jeff, standing nearby, felt as though he were dreaming after hearing all this.
"Fuck, what the hell is going on with this world?
