Kevin stretched out his clawed hand, seized the head of the evil spirit that had ambushed him, clenched it in his palm, and yanked it straight up from the ground.
The hunched evil spirit, over two meters tall, was held in his grip like a puppet doll, lifted sideways with ease.
The savage demon claws and demon legs had completely fused with his body, transforming his physique into something even more grotesque.
At that moment, it looked as though one evil spirit was bullying another.
"What is this thing? Could it be one of those demons too? I haven't seen one like it before. It looks a little strange—more like a ghost." Jeff stepped forward and curiously examined the evil spirit in Kevin's hand.
"Whatever this thing is, it definitely means us harm. It attacked us without warning just now. If it had been an ordinary person, they would've died in an instant!"
"I remember that before we were teleported here, that ugly goat-headed thing said we were still Golden Crown Company employees. It told us to investigate something and go over there. Could this be what it meant? Where exactly did it send us?"
"Let's get out of here first. We'll find out once we see what's outside. Now that one of these things has shown up, who knows whether there'll be a second or third? It'd be bad if an even stronger demon appeared later!"
"Let's first figure out what's going on here, see what exactly that thing wants us to investigate, and then proceed carefully." Ron wore a thoughtful expression as he surveyed the surroundings.
He kept feeling as if someone were watching him, as though trouble was drawing near.
"You're right, Mr. Ron. I wholeheartedly agree with you." Jeff raised both hands in agreement with Ron.
