"I see... That's wonderful... To be able to fight and pioneer alongside one's predecessors."
Type-Moon Li Ke scratched his head. For some reason, compared to his own Type-Moon World, he found himself looking forward to Prehistoric Li Ke's world even more.
That world felt incredibly real; even the Sages were merely individuals with unique abilities, and the various great gods weren't the unreachable figures of myth, but actual people—people who moved forward alongside humanity.
Nuwa molding clay into humans was simply because she had discovered that boiling water could help pregnant women during childbirth, and the vessels used to boil that water were made of clay, just as the stoves were piled up from mud.
To the people of that world, they saw Nuwa preparing heaps of earth, mixing it, and upon her return, they saw new life.
This was the legend of Nuwa creating humans as told by the Li Ke of the Prehistoric World.
As for Li Ke, he had been striving since birth to ensure his tribespeople could live better lives. Although the results were mediocre—because some things simply didn't exist in that era—his life had always been fulfilling.
Yet, by comparison, the people he met in the Type-Moon World all seemed a bit...
Lacking something?
Reviewing his shared memories and viewing his own world from a third-party perspective, Type-Moon Li Ke realized what that feeling of "something missing" was.
To be precise, it lacked a sense of authentic weight; his entire worldview exuded an extreme temperament.
Even Scathach, the most mature woman he had encountered, possessed an extreme personality. She seemed to care for nothing but combat, cold to a terrifying degree.
It made one feel as though the people he saw were merely one-dimensional, not complete human beings.
"I feel like you're being a bit chuunibyou. What's there to envy about a world that's as empty as mine? Being so sentimental... environments really do shape people."
Apocalypse Li Ke, standing to the side with his arms crossed, chimed in with a snarky remark.
Apocalypse Li Ke was the one who saw through human nature the most clearly. He believed that if this space didn't allow for the sharing of memories and powers, and only allowed for the sharing of supplies, the various Li Kes would inevitably engage in schemes and infighting, perhaps even becoming enemies.
Thus, he was the most insightful regarding Type-Moon Li Ke's dilemma, though he didn't think much of it, merely offering a jab.
However, he had a crucial question of his own.
"Envy won't get you anywhere. Your current problem is that you've been targeted by the Counter Force. You'd best make plans early. It would be best to follow my lead and set your goal on overthrowing the world as soon as possible."
Tipping his cowboy hat, the poetically-inclined Apocalypse Li Ke spoke these incredibly arrogant words in a low voice.
To him, women, wealth, power, and pleasure meant nothing; he didn't even care much for his own life. But he wanted his world to return to a state of normalcy. He didn't want to see a world where even children had to learn deceit just to survive.
Because in his world, kindness was truly a trait that could get oneself and others killed.
Recently, after receiving seeds from Daily Life Li Ke, he had been contemplating whether a world where even five-year-olds were eager to kill others to steal their supplies and flesh was even worth saving, and if so, how.
Then, he reached a conclusion.
He truly loathed this world—every person, every event, everything in it. If there were any possibility of escaping this world, he would leave.
But it was his world, after all.
So, to change it, he had to become a trinity: the Holy Father representing omnipotence, the Holy Son representing infinite hope, and the Holy Mother representing forgiveness and tolerance.
His world was a bad child, so he would force it back into being a good child through the rod, leading by example, and providing sufficient welfare.
Type-Moon Li Ke felt helpless. He also found it absurd that the Counter Force would suddenly decide to cause him trouble for no reason.
So, he pondered for a moment.
"Fair enough. Then I'll set my goal as figuring out how to kill the Counter Force for the time being. Since they've already sent people to kill me, I naturally have to find a way to take them out."
Type-Moon Li Ke spread his hands.
"Though I don't know if killing them will cause problems... but whatever. I'll just kill them once I have the ability."
He truly didn't understand the Counter Force of the Type-Moon World, nor did he know what they looked like; he only knew that for now, they were untouchable and invisible to him.
Killing them would likely require a series of studies and experiments.
"That being said, I'll have to find a way to make money and research how to handle the aftermath."
Stroking his chin, Li Ke began to think about how to make money in the Type-Moon World.
After all, research required funding, and the project of "how to kill the Counter Force" clearly required a massive amount of capital.
"You'd better be cautious. What if killing the Counter Force causes the Earth and humanity to perish together? Don't forget, the Counter Force in your world consists of the Gaia consciousness and the Alaya consciousness. It would be troublesome if that happened. So, you'd better figure it out before you act, or wait for a Li Ke with the talent to perceive the Heavenly Dao to appear."
Daily Life Li Ke stepped out to offer a reminder.
"That's true, but who knows how long that will take? I still have to work hard myself... but why does the Counter Force feel like a toad? Such a disgusting thing."
Type-Moon Li Ke felt a sense of revulsion toward his own world.
"Every world is different. Our innate abilities have different effects in different worlds, let alone this... who told you to be in the Type-Moon World?"
Daily Life Li Ke suddenly thought of something.
"Speaking of which, for me and the Apocalypse version, the time dilation between us seems to be the largest, right? How are those crops? I saw you were planning to establish a base?"
Apocalypse Li Ke nodded. His last visit was three months ago, but only a day had passed for Type-Moon Li Ke. He wondered if this would improve as the Black Mist Space became more stable.
"Yes. After all, my world requires an absolute ruler. Since no one else is up to the task, it has to be me. As for the crops, while they don't have the exaggerated effects of those in your world, they are basically the same. We've already harvested once. Everyone is very happy."
Apocalypse Li Ke answered with a smile, then looked at Daily Life Li Ke, speechless.
"But I still envy your world."
Daily Life Li Ke felt a bit awkward; he knew exactly what Apocalypse Li Ke meant.
"Your world is truly fortunate to be able to function normally without needing a powerhouse to shoulder everything..."
Apocalypse Li Ke sighed with emotion.
The world of Daily Life Li Ke was excessively peaceful; even if there were criminals, they were nothing more than bank robbers or bandits and highwaymen in remote mountainous areas.
Moreover, there were people to maintain order and mete out punishment; the king of his world was quite competent in his duties.
And so, for Daily Life Li Ke—
His daily routine was just bullying little kids!
