The monster's eyes were dazzled by countless lights, temporarily impairing its vision. Seizing the opportunity, Gipsy Danger's left hand rapidly transformed. Its five fingers spread backward, exposing the palm, where a metal hatch opened to reveal the concealed barrel within.

The crackle of electricity rang in both pilots' minds. This was Gipsy Danger's own Plasma Caster. The Plasma Caster was immensely powerful, but its range was extremely short. It did not need to be pressed directly against a monster to work, but it was practically a close-combat weapon.

Yet just as the caster was about to fire, the monster on the other side fiercely slapped Gipsy Danger's hand aside. After all, it had already been struck twice by the Plasma Caster. How could it possibly fail to recognize it now?

The monster possessed intelligence as well, so it immediately decided to disable Gipsy Danger's weapon. Enduring a solid punch from Gipsy Danger, it drove its razor-sharp, blade-like head directly into the mech's arm.

Like a knife through tofu, its sharp head effortlessly sliced through Gipsy Danger's arm and shoulder together.

Oil and coolant leaked from the severed shoulder, while exposed circuits erupted in a chain of small explosions.

Fortunately, Gipsy Danger had corresponding protective measures in place. Otherwise, that blow alone could have completely paralyzed the entire mech. Even so, the damage to its body had caused all its functions to decline. More importantly, with one arm gone, the mech's center of gravity had become unstable, making it even harder to exert force. It could be said that they had already lost.

Inside the cockpit, the mech's various malfunctions made Raleigh Becket and Yancy Becket let out agonized screams. Even their pilot suits, overwhelmed by the strain, burst with blinding electric arcs, subjecting them to both physical and mental torment.
