Background

Bai Sui awakened in the Naruto world as a severely injured transport worker associated with the Uzumaki Clan. A blood-written report from Uzumaki Sanjin confirmed both his identity and that he was the sole civilian survivor of an Uchiha attack on the Fifth Transport Squad. 3

His knowledge came from a previous life in which he had studied Ghost Immortal practices and spent more than a decade on “nature cultivation.” In his new body, however, shifted meridians and unfamiliar acupoints made old methods unreliable; he first healed himself, mapped his physiology through internal observation, and treated his past knowledge as reference rather than doctrine. 7 31

The discovery of unfamiliar acupoints convinced Bai Sui that he could survive as an acupuncturist even if cultivation failed. He hid his early progress from the Uzumaki Clan, taught local children literacy, and deliberately maintained emotional distance because he intended to leave once he could protect himself. 7 9

Personality

Bai Sui is patient, analytical, and highly adaptable. Rather than force cultivation methods onto an unfamiliar body, he spent days healing, meditating, and verifying the functions of altered meridians and acupoints. 7

He is compassionate in ordinary circumstances. He treats strangers, teaches children, improves village sanitation, and repeatedly shares knowledge that can raise others’ living conditions or cultivation prospects. 13 18 300

Despite this compassion, Bai Sui can be ruthless when secrecy or protection is at stake. When soldiers and a merchant endangered his village, he killed the attackers, extracted information from the merchant with spiritual power, and staged the scene to conceal his involvement. 25

He has little personal interest in fame or political power, partly because of his previous life’s experiences with familial decline. He prefers freedom, knowledge, and advancement on a path of his own choosing; even when the Dao of All Beings could have helped him become a Saint, he refused to bind himself permanently to the Primordial World. 21 294

His curiosity often overrides immediate victory. During battle with an Otsutsuki opponent, he allowed repeated time reversals to continue so that he could study the resulting temporal fluctuations and understand time itself. 129

Abilities & Skills

Immortal Cultivation

Bai Sui cultivates a modified form of the Lingbao Bifa, prioritizing nature over life and adapting its principles to each world he visits.

  • His Human Immortal body possesses heightened digestion, freedom from illness, reduced fatigue, longevity, clear senses, and a Dantian capable of directing natural Qi like a limb. 31
  • He can absorb natural Qi passively or actively, reducing his dependence on food while improving his physical strength. 15 16
  • His True Qi later transformed into Dharma Power flowing directly from his Primordial Spirit, improving both quality and efficiency. 89
  • His Primordial Spirit developed into a Yang Spirit with substantial form and resistance to temporal interference. 118 129

Divine Sense and Inner Landscape

Bai Sui uses Divine Sense for perception, telekinesis, analysis, and spiritual combat.

  • His Divine Sense can manipulate Qi and physical objects, including carrying multiple boxes of books through the air. 40
  • His external Divine Sense domain reached 400 meters and enabled short-range teleportation. 89
  • His Inner Landscape can record large-scale information, support experimentation, and eventually allow internal teleportation. 106 202
  • He possesses the Huan World, a personal world marked by his own existence that can store people, objects, treasures, and cultivated spiritual plants. 163 292

Medicine and Acupuncture

Bai Sui is an accomplished physician whose practice combines medical theory, Qi manipulation, acupuncture, herbs, and cultivation insight.

  • He mapped the Naruto world’s altered acupoints and meridians, allowing him to use acupuncture despite differences from his previous life. 7
  • Wood-style Qi accelerates healing, while Earth-style Qi improves the penetration and adhesion needed for advanced treatment. 17
  • He treated Kubota Noriyuki’s sprained ankle with acupuncture and herbal poultices. 21
  • He restored Gao Yushan’s limbs and body, strengthening her physical form enough to accommodate her unusually powerful soul. 259
  • He restored Tian Jinzhong’s limbs and damaged Ki pathways, then provided him with a tailored cultivation method. 263

Five-Element Qi

Bai Sui discovered that his elemental Qi follows the Four Symbols rather than a conventional cycle of mutual generation and restraint.

  • Wood / Lesser Yang — accelerates plant growth and healing. 16 17
  • Fire / Greater Yang — generates heat and can conjure fire from the void. 16 31
  • Metal / Lesser Yin — increases toughness and enhances the precision of his Qi Sword. 16 20
  • Water / Greater Yin — freezes targets and can summon rain. 16 31
  • Earth / Long Summer — acts as a catalyst that strengthens other attributes and bonds Qi to matter. 17

Swordsmanship and Qi Sword

Bai Sui is an exceptional swordsman whose Qi Sword functions as both a weapon and a precision tool.

  • He developed the Qi Sword by compressing and releasing Qi in powerful breaths. 10
  • He uses it to carve precise mechanical parts, forge weapons, engrave patterns, and disrupt chakra formations. 20 39
  • His swordsmanship and physical ability surpassed Kubota Noriyuki’s during their sparring match. 21
  • He later refined his original sword with Pure Yang Real Person’s inheritance mark, turning it into a sword pellet. 206

Dōjutsu

Bai Sui possesses evolved Sharingan- and Rinnegan-based abilities shaped by his own spiritual disposition.

  • Jing — an inward-facing technique that expels external forces and cleanses his heart. 95
  • Qing — an outward-facing technique that strips away what does not belong to him and purifies external corruption. 95
  • The Yin-Yang Tablets and lotus inheritance substantially strengthened Qing and Jing. 206
  • Nang — initially controlled the flow of time; after merging with Zhang Guolao’s Fish Drum inheritance, it gained the ability to glimpse distant future scenes. 206
  • He evolved his Rinnegan after reading Urashiki Otsutsuki’s memories, though the evolution slightly weakened his control. 133

Ninjutsu, Sage Arts, and Bloodline Analysis

Bai Sui studies chakra systems without mistaking them for his own Qi.

  • He can imitate chakra’s rhythm with Dharma Power, but cannot transform Dharma Power into genuine chakra. 89
  • He deciphered several Kekkei Genkai, including the Byakugan, Shikotsumyaku, and elemental releases; he publicly revealed only his replication of Scorch Release. 106
  • His domain can suppress ninjutsu by disrupting chakra within its area of effect. 39
  • He uses Sage Arts in combat and combines them with formations to control enemy movement. 129

Talismans, Runes, and Artifact Refinement

Bai Sui develops techniques by combining cultivation knowledge with local seal, curse-mark, and talisman systems.

  • He created a 95-stroke rune capable of storing, condensing, and releasing Qi. 40
  • His Dragon Talismans reinforce space, trap opponents, and block spatial escape techniques such as Yomotsu Hirasaka. 129
  • Unlike ordinary talismans that request power from heaven and earth, Bai Sui’s talismans forcibly draw in surrounding energy. 265
  • He created Divine Script from Dragon Talismans, allowing insights and cultivation methods to be stored, transmitted, and comprehended by others. 282 283
  • Otsutsuki knowledge enabled him to refine artifacts, produce storage rings, and modify Size Manipulation to enlarge or shrink objects. 133

Spatial, Temporal, and World Traversal

Bai Sui can manipulate space and time through a combination of Divine Sense, dōjutsu, talismans, and spiritual treasures.

  • He can teleport with his Primordial Spirit and later teleport freely within his Inner Landscape. 89 106
  • He learned to freeze his own time after absorbing Otsutsuki memories. 133
  • His Kunlun Mirror, fused with the Sacred Wood Hairpin, allows travel through time, space, and different worlds. 302
  • He uses a spirit vessel built around the Kunlun Mirror, Chaos Bell, Six Directions Lamp, and divine wood to travel through Chaos. 336

Divine Authority and Faith

Bai Sui developed a divine path alongside immortal cultivation.

  • His celestial register grants authority over clouds; he can transform into auspicious mist and travel through the void more quickly. 206
  • Devout temple caretakers can receive cloud-related abilities, beginning with summoning clouds and rain and potentially advancing to wind, rain, thunder, and lightning. 210
  • He refines incense and faith into divine power, using it to advance his celestial register and strengthen divine domains. 206 207
  • As Human Teacher, he can mobilize the Human Race’s destiny and is owed a disciple’s salute by members of the Human Race in the Primordial World. 302

Equipment and Treasures

  • Eight-Faced Sword — A sword Bai Sui forged from smelted iron and carved with his Qi Sword. 20
  • Sword Pellet — His original sword after refinement with Pure Yang Real Person’s sword inheritance mark. 206
  • Yin-Yang Tablets — Inherited from Cao Guojiu’s true intent; Bai Sui can refine copies capable of growing toward the originals’ quality. 190
  • Dragon Talismans and formation flags — Spatially stabilizing talismans used for trapping, arrays, and energy manipulation. 129 223
  • Six Directions Lamp — A spiritual treasure compatible with his body of spatial traversal and used in his first Body-Severing Method breakthrough. 282 283
  • Spirit Fire Tower — Stores emotional power and Bai Sui’s incarnations; supports his Dao of Emotions and underworld administration. 300 302
  • Kunlun Mirror — Fused with the Sacred Wood Hairpin to gain interworld, temporal, and spatial traversal. 302
  • Twenty-four Dragon Talisman banners — Refined from World Tree materials and strengthened with diluted Infinity Stone power. 223
  • Spatial armor and soul-power robe — Armor projects a spatial barrier containing spatial currents and blades; the robe protects both body and soul. 219 223

  • Uzumaki Clan — Bai Sui’s former protectors and benefactors. He taught children in their territory, concealed his cultivation from them, and intended to repay their kindness after gaining enough power. 9
  • Kubota Noriyuki — Samurai sparring partner, friend, and student. Bai Sui defeated him in a spar, treated his injury, and later taught him Sword Dao concepts; Kubota became increasingly loyal and helped protect the village. 21 22 25
