Li Chen joined the Spirit Pagoda, bonded with the Fate Underworld Qilin, and gained the authority of the Underworld while developing his forging skills alongside Gu Yue and Na'er. The trio enrolled at Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy and traveled to Eastsea City in disguise to face Shrek’s students in a tournament.

• Li Chen awakened his Pluto and cube martial souls, tested at Innate Full Soul Power, and joined the Spirit Pagoda before choosing the Fate Underworld Qilin as his soul spirit.
• Li Chen and Gu Yue fought through the Spirit Ascension Platform, where Li Chen awakened the Dawn Nether Domain, and Leng Yaozhu brought him to headquarters with Gu Yue and Na'er.
• Han Tianyi guided Li Chen through an attempt to sense death energy, which carried him to the Underworld, where he became Lord of the Underworld and enlisted Electrolux as his advisor.
• Li Chen returned from the Underworld, mastered forging, and trained with Gu Yue and Na'er until they reached the three-ring Soul Elder realm.
• Li Chen, Gu Yue, and Na'er defeated the projections of Huo Yuhao and the Shrek Seven Devils and the Sky Azure Bull Python in the Exclusive Spirit Ascension Platform, raising Li Chen’s soul rings to ten-thousand-year quality.
• Li Chen demonstrated his forging skill before Zhen Hua, declined his offer of apprenticeship, and accepted his communication token.
• Hongchen Ming selected Li Chen, Gu Yue, and Na'er to represent Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy against Shrek’s students and provided tools to conceal their identities.
• After Leng Yaozhu warned them to hide their identities and strongest abilities, Li Chen, Gu Yue, and Na'er boarded a train for Eastsea City.

Li Chen protected Na'er from Tang San's plans, helped her inherit the Golden Dragon King core, and led Eastsea Academy to victory over Shrek before forging his Battle Armor and completing a Gold-Grade Awakening. The arc leaves Li Chen preparing to form a Soul Spirit with Phoenix God's help while Electrolux urges him to address another matter.

• Li Chen destroyed Tang San and Tang Hao's divine consciousnesses, took Tang Wulin's Golden Dragon King Divine Core, and later helped Na'er fuse with it using Gu Yue's Silver Dragon King origin and Creation Divine Power.
• Li Chen and Gu Yue took Na'er to the beach, then Li Chen registered the three as Eastsea Academy's exhibition representatives despite the seven-member requirement.
• Li Chen defeated Shrek's Seven in the exhibition match, then beat Xuan Li in a duel and won the Gold Water Intertwined Shrek had offered as the challenge fee.
• Li Chen gave the Gold Water Intertwined to Zhen Hua, who forged his One-Word Battle Armor, while Mu Ye taught him the Body Sect's techniques and guided his Gold-Grade Awakening.
• Li Chen, Gu Yue, and Na'er defeated five Evil Soul Masters aboard a train, and Tang Wulin learned that they had already completed his mission.
• Li Chen declined Qiangu Dongfeng's offer to join the Qiangu Family and later persuaded Phoenix God to help him form a Soul Spirit.

Li Chen’s growing power and the Spirit Pagoda’s conflict with Shrek helped fracture Shrek’s standing and draw the Federation into a siege. The arc left Chen Xinjie facing three Limit Douluos as Chen Zeyu agreed to support Li Chen.

• Li Chen created Hainuo, Doria, and Yuantan as subordinate gods, then returned to Shrek City and recruited Yuanen Yehui into the Spirit Pagoda.
• After Cai Yue'er attacked Qiangu Dongfeng, the Spirit Pagoda detained her, and Yun Ming confronted Qiangu Dongfeng at its gates.
• Li Chen sent Hainuo, Doria, and Yuantan to attack Shrek Academy, where they killed elders, wounded Zang Xin, and forced Yun Ming to burn his Demigod seat to drive them away.
• Qiangu Dongfeng and Xu Guanzhi established Federal First Soul Master Academy, and students began leaving Shrek as the Tang Sect ended its partnerships with the academy.
• Li Chen defeated Mo Jue’s team in the exchange match, then seized the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well’s immortal herbs and restored the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ souls.
• Li Chen formed the Samsara Soul Core and balanced its power with the Law of Death, the Ark Core, the Law of Fate, and the Phoenix God’s Power of Genesis.
• The Federation besieged Shrek City, and Dong Zi'an’s soldiers crippled Cai Yue'er after she led alumni toward the West City Gate.
• Chen Xinjie resigned in protest of the siege, while Yuan Ge secured Chen Zeyu’s support for Li Chen before Hainuo and Yuantan confronted Chen Xinjie.
