The first Black Mist Beast to step forward had eight enormous claws. It slammed them all down at once, trying to alter the trajectory of that terrifying swordlight.

The swordlight swept through the Black Mist Beast's body, and its boundless power quickly annihilated it into nothingness. Still, the beast hadn't accomplished nothing: it had managed to shift the swordlight's trajectory by a hair and weaken its power considerably.
Next, a second enormous Black Mist Beast stepped forward, directly using its body to block the swordlight's path.

The Black Mist Beast's body was incredibly tough. Endless sword energy erupted again and again, and it wasn't completely annihilated until nearly half the swordlight's power had been spent.
Then a third Black Mist Beast stepped forward.
In the end, three Black Mist Beasts died and one was lightly injured before that terrifying swordlight was finally exhausted.

Just then, Ju Hua activated the final attack stored in the Crystal Sword.
