Background

The First Incarnation: A Million-Year Loose Immortal

Zhuanshui Juhua’s origins lay in the Zhuanshui Clan of the Great Xia World. In his first life, he accidentally obtained an Immortal Abode inheritance that had once belonged to the Daoist Sanshou. This fortuitous discovery propelled his cultivation forward at an astonishing pace. Despite his rapid progress, he ultimately failed his Celestial Immortal Tribulation and became a Loose Immortal 198.

Even after falling from the path of Celestial Immortality, he did not stagnate. Relying on the resources and techniques of the Immortal Abode, he continued to advance and, within a little over a hundred thousand years, rose to prominence within the Zhuanshui Clan, becoming a revered million-year Loose Immortal 198. His strength grew steadily, and he survived the increasingly terrifying Three Calamities and Nine Tribulations for millions of years. However, no Loose Immortal could live forever. As the end of his lifespan approached, the Zhuanshui Clan—unwilling to lose such a powerful figure—arranged for his reincarnation, ensuring that his second life would also be spent within the clan 198.

Rebirth and Return to the Zhuanshui Clan

Reincarnated, Zhuanshui Juhua once again grew up within the Zhuanshui Clan. The clan traced its ancestry to Emperor Zhuanxu’s descendants, who settled beside the Zhuanshui River and adopted the surname Zhuanshui 2. In his new life, he became a Loose Immortal in less than four years after starting cultivation, having trained for a total of only three hundred years by the time he first entered the public eye 31 26. His rise was so swift that few outside the Zhuanshui Clan knew of him; even among the Loose Immortals of other major powers, he was largely unrecognised 31. Yet his hidden potential and the knowledge of future events he carried from the Desolate Era made him exceptionally cautious and strategic 68.

During this period, he mastered the ninth form of the Great Sorrow Sword Art and made remarkable progress in the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, reaching a level comparable to the seventh form 65. His talent became so formidable that he would later consider even the guidance of legendary figures like Xiaoyao Celestial or Goddess Nuwa to be far inferior to his own innate comprehension 68.

After his failure of the Celestial Tribulation, Juhua also began exploring Heartforce. His resolve to continue cultivating allowed him to enter the Entry level of Heartforce and gain Heart Sense, establishing the foundation for one of his greatest future advantages 2.

Early Exploits in the Great Xia World

Zhuanshui Juhua first demonstrated his ambition and strength during an expedition led by the Immortal Jiuhua. When the Immortal Jiuhua called his name during a commander trial, Juhua stepped forward and, using his three immortal swords to form the Three Talents Sword Array, left a deep sword mark on a hundred-foot log—matching the depth of the mark left by the legendary God Mountain 31. Impressed, the Immortal Jiuhua appointed him commander of the second army division 31.

Juhua sought the command position not for prestige, but because it would allow him to protect the Zhuanshui Clan’s forces by assigning them to comparatively safe areas during the Autumn Mountain Great Marsh campaign 31. His decision reflected a persistent trait: although he cultivated relentlessly and kept many secrets, he remained protective of his clan and family.

Shortly thereafter, the Immortal Jiuhua privately invited Juhua, revealing that he had discovered a mysterious immortal abode in the Northern Underworld Space guarded by a complex formation requiring both Qi Refinement and Fiendgod Body Refinement practitioners. He asked Juhua to join him in exploring it after the war, and Juhua agreed, swearing a Heavenly Dao oath to keep the secret 41. This alliance would prove significant in later years.

Juhua’s reputation grew when he decisively dealt with an enemy of the Shaoyan Clan, even orchestrating a confrontation with the million-year Loose Immortal of that clan, Immortal Fuliu 125. His cunning and preparedness became hallmarks of his style. After returning to the Zhuanshui Clan, he received many visitors seeking his favour due to his newly known high Dao comprehension, but he met only a select few, such as the clan leader and Qing Muling of the Qingmu Clan, to whom he owed a favour 112 53.

Ascension to Celestial God and the Star-Plucking Lineage

Zhuanshui Juhua eventually underwent the Celestial God Tribulation. With the guidance of the Yellow-Haired Great Bear—the guardian of an advanced Immortal Abode—he successfully passed the tribulation, after which the Yellow-Haired Great Bear declared that Juhua would become a named disciple of the master and could officially join the Star-Plucking Lineage 87. This lineage, associated with the ancient Star-Plucking Daoist, provided him with powerful techniques and a secure foundation.

Despite achieving the status of a Celestial God, Juhua kept this fact hidden from most. Only the Zhuanshui Celestial God knew of his true realm; to the outside world, he was known only as a Void-Return God-Demon with extraordinarily high Dao comprehension 112. This concealment allowed him to move without drawing excessive attention.

His devotion to his sister also shaped his arrangements during this period. Juhua created a Second Primordial Spirit and concealed it within a portable cave-heaven necklace worn by Zhuanshui Qiu, intending it to protect her in emergencies without allowing her to become dependent on his protection 61. He later recruited Feng Yu to provide open protection and guidance for Zhuanshui Qiu, eventually accepting the Heavenly Phoenix as his spirit beast 63 196.

The Xiaoyao Cave Heaven and Mortal Heart Tempering

Many years later, Juhua and the Immortal Jiuhua discovered the entrance to the Xiaoyao Cave Heaven, a space that exuded the aura of the Heavenly Dao and likely belonged to a Pure Yang True Immortal or even a Dao Ancestor 65. Within this domain, Juhua faced the trials set by Xiaoyao Celestial. He chose to observe the trials cautiously before acting, seeking both the opportunity and the protection offered by the status of a Dao Ancestor’s named disciple 68.

Juhua endured twenty years in the Magma Purgatory, where he refined his sword arts and grasped the Power of the Sword 72. He ultimately cleared all nine trials and received the token identifying him as a named disciple of Xiaoyao Celestial 72. Because he did not become a personal disciple or enter the Xiaoyao Heavenly Palace in the manner expected by Immortal Jiuhua, Jiuhua remained unaware of the full result and incorrectly believed Juhua had failed at the sixth stage 232.

During one of the trials, Juhua lived as a mortal in Frost City for Red Dust Heart Tempering. There he married Zhong Mu, a capable young woman and martial artist who had inherited and expanded her family’s business 74. Though the marriage began as part of his mortal experience, Juhua gradually recognised the sincerity of their bond. After revealing his immortal identity, he affirmed Zhong Mu as his Dao companion 82 84.

During his time in the Xiaoyao Domain, Juhua mastered the complete Yin Heavenly Dao, which greatly increased his magical power. He hypothesized that mastering opposing Heavenly Daos allowed immediate contact with corresponding origins, leading to a qualitative increase in strength 267. He also encountered a blood-red flying boat that impressed the Xiuke Celestial God, showing his growing collection of treasures 232.

Exploration of Ancient Inheritances

Juhua’s pursuit of power led him to the Sword Immortal World, where he sought the inheritance of Dao Ancestor Fuju. Upon entering the teleportation array, he was taken to a dark, isolated space. After demonstrating mastery of the Wubao Sword Art, he ascended through a void filled with stone tablets bearing powerful sword arts and reached a divine temple containing the broken divine sword Ziguangqiong 171. There, the sword spirit Ziguangqiong revealed that her master, Dao Ancestor Fuju, was actually World God Beixiu in disguise. The inheritance was left not merely for power, but to have someone deliver a message about the Three Wujiao Divine Beasts to Tiancang Palace 171.

Later, his clone entered Snow Mountain Island, where he defeated the golden Yaksha guardian with precise sword control and then entered the Moonlit Pool. With the help of Ziguangqiong—who could influence the guardians—he obtained the Ice Heart Marrow 175. These inheritances vastly expanded his combat capabilities and knowledge.

Within the Moonlit Pool and World God Beixiu’s inheritance grounds, Juhua used the Snow Demon and Purgatory God as sparring partners. He successively integrated the Power of Taiji and the Power of Wuji into his swordsmanship, greatly strengthening defensive arts such as the Three Lives Style 178 183. He also received the first seven forms of the Heart Sword Art, a unique sword inheritance capable of uniting Heartforce, divine power, magical power, and the Dao of the Sword 173.

Rise Among the Great Powers of the Three Realms

Juhua’s growing strength and the value of his inheritance made him a target. Dao Ancestor Yingyu revealed ulterior motives, and the Heavenly Lord of Thunder, along with Dao Ancestor Yaoguang and Dao Ancestor Chiru, formed a temporary alliance to capture him 238. Juhua evaded them using the divine ability Measure Wind Wave and remained calm under threat. The Heavenly Lord of Thunder, frustrated, resolved to capture him alive 238.

Juhua’s increasing reputation also led Emperor Zhuanxu and other great powers to speculate that he might be Dao Ancestor Fuju’s reincarnation, largely because of his rapid mastery of the Wubao Sword Art. Emperor Zhuanxu ultimately chose to judge him by his conduct rather than his uncertain origins, recognising Juhua’s genuine concern for the Human Race 158.

While serving Emperor Zhuanxu, Juhua accepted the task of eliminating the Seven Demon Gods of Singing Bird Mountain for their mass-farming of humans 158. He later exposed a broader scheme involving the creature known as Yu, Dao Ancestor Biye, and several manipulated great powers, helping avert an attempt to eliminate Emperor Zhuanxu, the Heavenly Lord of Thunder, and himself simultaneously 256.

Juhua’s Three Realms Sword Art eventually became one of the foremost sword techniques in the Three Realms. Its five principal styles included the offensive Sky Piercing, Floating Shadow, and Extinction Styles, together with the defensive Origin Sword and Yin-Yang Styles 250 376. His Origin Sword Style enabled him to withstand repeated attacks by Sanqing Daoist’s Zhu Xian Swords, drawing the attention of the strongest figures of the Three Realms 250.

His Second Primordial Spirit subsequently achieved the magical power of a First-Class Ancestral Immortal, while his sword arts allowed him to display the combat ability of a top-tier Ancestral God 266. By unifying divine energy, immortal energy, and Heartforce through the Nine-Fold Chaos Restriction, he later remodeled his Second Primordial Spirit’s body into a divine body suited for close combat and attained strength approaching that of a World God 325.

The Dao Lord Path

After leaving the Three Realms to pursue greater inheritances, Juhua entered the Dao Lord realm through his Ultimate Dao of the Sword. He merged his eighteen avatars for the breakthrough, causing his Dao Tree and divine body to transform; his Second Primordial Spirit underwent a corresponding breakthrough within the Hongfeng Universe 450.

Juhua then spent extended periods perfecting the Five Great Sword Styles and fusing them into increasingly profound levels of the Ultimate Dao of the Sword. After ninety-nine years of accelerated cultivation, he reached the second level of the Ultimate Dao and became a Second Step Dao Lord 465 466. His strength was further enhanced by Eternal Divine Weapons, the Leimu Body, his strengthened soul, and the six Myriad Spirits Swords, whose origins he infused with his own Ultimate Dao 425 457.

He also cultivated the Three Forces Integration sword arts, combining Heartforce, divine power, and magical power. The Sword Art of Killing All gave him access to the Piaomiao and Chenzui stances, which substantially amplified the power of his sword arts 476. His comprehension of the World of Heart, derived from the Realm of Illusory Dreams and the Great Extinction Technique, gave him increasingly formidable control over enemies and the battlefield 479 521.

Juhua fused with the Level Ten treasure known as the Body of the Sword Dao, transforming his divine body into a divine sword while retaining the ability to activate or deactivate that state 519. Soon afterward, he became a Third Step Dao Lord and was placed 100th on the Dao Lord Ranking List 520. Star Lord Chenxin spread rumors that Juhua possessed vast quantities of Star Gold Sand, making him a target for many peak Dao Lords 520.

Rather than retreat from this pressure, Juhua faced the pursuing powers directly. His World of Heart, Body of the Sword Dao, and Myriad Spirits Swords allowed him to overwhelm Academy Master Mingyu, whose Undying Body of Wind and hidden trump card proved insufficient 522. By the time he sought retribution against Star Lord Chenxin, Juhua had already reached the Fourth Step Dao Lord realm 525.

Return to the Three Realms

Having grown into one of the most formidable existences in the Three Realms, Juhua returned to his home of the Three Realms. His true self visited his two lairs—the Star-Plucking Mansion and the ancestral grounds of the Zhuanshui Clan in the Great Xia World—and then summoned the top-tier great powers to the Three Realms Divine Hall 570. There, he announced that he had obtained new inheritances that could benefit all living beings, but he emphasised that cultivators must rely on their own struggle rather than expecting everything too easily 570. His disciple Liu Qingqing had already become a First-Class Ancestral Immortal, a testament to his guidance 570.

Juhua established a contribution system and trial grounds across the Three Realms so that cultivators could earn access to the legacies fairly rather than receive them without effort 571. He then departed for the Yu Star Sea to temper himself and prepare for Dao Integration, while his Second Primordial Spirit continued seeking methods to strengthen his cultivation 571.

His subsequent adventures included entering the Red Wave Palace, where he chose self-tempering over immediate treasure hunting, and creating Wangtian Cliff, a self-created sword move whose power reached the limit of the second stage of Three Forces Integration 552 563. He also obtained the aid of Emperor Hejiang, who agreed to refine a Seven Emotions Seven Hearts Pill using Juhua’s soul and blood and gifted him two Extreme God Pills 573.

Reincarnated Bodies and Dao Integration

After enduring the Seven Emotions Seven Hearts Pill’s trial for three thousand years of emotional illusions, Juhua formed a Seven Emotions Crystal and gained a more complete, controlled heart 594. This experience reinforced his decision to pursue a unique path through Reincarnated Bodies, seeking to bring several Daos to the Lord of the Holy City level before integrating them 594.

Juhua mastered Soul Fusion Reincarnation, a heaven-defying technique that permitted his true spirit to merge with those of newborn lives and create Reincarnated Bodies capable of independently cultivating and attempting Dao Integration 442. His Reincarnated Bodies successfully completed Dao Integration one after another, becoming Dominators. Juhua then emerged from seclusion having mastered three Daos at the Dominator level through their shared insights 616.

He also aided Overlord Nine Spirits in the struggle over an Alien Universe. After the universe’s protective array was shattered, Juhua persuaded his master to enter first and helped her refine its origin by providing time acceleration and arranging protective formations with his Reincarnated Bodies 633.

Ultimate Emperor and the War Against the Sith Race

Juhua ultimately succeeded in integrating his own Dao and became the first Ultimate Emperor of the Chaos Universe 649. He initially concealed this achievement in order to avoid prematurely provoking the Sith Race, while intending to inform the Supremes and prepare for the greater conflict 649. He also returned to the Blue Flower Abode to fulfil Qi Supreme’s dying wish by creating the tenth fold of the Nine-Fold Space technique 649.

During the war against the Sith Race, Juhua demonstrated power that caused even the strongest Special Lifeforms to fear him. He effortlessly killed several powerful enemies, including the being responsible for Supreme Mo Gu’s death, while deliberately sparing two others so that Supreme Hongran could use them to mislead the Sith Race 697. He later resumed working with Ji Ning on a formation meant to stop the Sith Race’s powerful weapon, and invited Ji Ning to discuss the Dao of Karmic Sword after the war 697.

Throughout his journey, Zhuanshui Juhua remained focused on benefitting his home realm, protecting those close to him, and pursuing a path of cultivation beyond conventional limits. His extraordinary talent, careful preparation, and willingness to face danger directly allowed him to rise from a failed Loose Immortal to an Ultimate Emperor.
