High in the sky, the blue-flamed phoenix collided mercilessly with Dawn.
Facing Dawn's slash, Marco showed no expression. With a shout, he slammed into Dawn, endured the slash head-on, and sent Dawn flying with a whip-like kick from his right leg!
The tremendous force carried Dawn through the sky in an arc, about to smash him down below.
But then came a sight that would have had Newton rolling in his grave—Dawn abruptly stopped in midair.
"So he's going all out, relying on the phoenix's regenerative powers and giving up defense completely?"
Dawn's Observation Haki, "Time Stop," had long since seen Marco's attack trajectory.
But because Dawn's strike had already landed on Marco and they were too close together, Marco endured the attack without resisting and kicked at Dawn at the same time.
At such close physical range, Dawn only had time to create a shield as he attacked, blocking most of the damage. Even so, the remaining force inevitably sent him flying.
Without another word, Dawn steadied himself in the sky. The next moment, the two collided once more!
Boom!
Their surging, violent power crashed together, and an invisible shockwave formed between their close-range fists before blasting recklessly outward.
Fortunately, they were in the air. Otherwise, those terrifying aftershocks alone would have shattered the earth and devastated everything around them.
A blue-flamed wing traced a dazzling arc through the sky and slashed instantly toward Dawn's head!
"Too slow!"
Dawn tilted his body slightly, evading Marco's slash. At the same time, he twisted at the waist and spun his entire body, using the momentum to whip his right arm like a lash directly into the blue-flamed wing.
"You bastard... are you a monster? You're maintaining such an absurd number of buffs, yet you can still... display this kind of strength."
