On an unnamed island, everything had now been reduced to ruins.
The battle grew ever fiercer. Although Bullet's desperate fighting style had initially helped him regain some ground, Dawn's Time Slow soon left him full of openings.
Boom!!
Dawn's fist slammed into Bullet's face. Blood streamed endlessly from his forehead, but Bullet had fallen into a frenzied rage. Unable to feel pain, he completely abandoned defense and threw a fist at Dawn as well.
The dark red figure narrowly dodged the blow. Dawn bent his right arm, driving his elbow viciously into the outside of Bullet's right elbow joint, propelled by white streaks of light formed from raging wind and fire.
Crack, crack, crack!!
Like a sharp wedge carrying the most violent impact, the strike directly shattered Bullet's arm. Dawn's expression did not change. He raised his left palm to block Bullet's other fist, then was dragged backward by the force of the punch.
"You've lost." Dawn looked at Bullet. "Your goal, one that was doomed to be impossible, ends here."
"I've lost?" Bullet roared madly. "Stop talking to yourself! You haven't beaten me yet!"
"You and I both know it's only a matter of time."
Dawn's words were like a blade piercing straight into his heart, mercilessly stabbing into Bullet's chest. "Even if you beat me and defeated every powerful enemy in the world, you still wouldn't surpass Roger."
"What nonsense are you talking about!!" Bullet roared as he flashed forward again, crashing sideways toward Dawn like a war chariot. "If that happened, then I'd be the strongest Pirate King, one who surpassed Roger!!"
"But he's dead. You can never know whether Roger, if he were still alive, could do the same as you and defeat every powerful enemy on the seas.
If so, then you will never surpass
