Enel's words exploded beside the Red-Hair Pirates like a thunderclap.
Even Benn Beckman's clear-minded brain stalled for a moment, unable to comprehend what the other side meant.
Wasn't the captain of the Thunder God Pirates standing right in front of them? Then why had this man, publicly acknowledged by the seas as one of the Four Emperors, casually uttered the word "captain" without the slightest hesitation?
"Yes. To keep the flies away, we cleared the surrounding seas." Enel grinned. "After all, it was best to keep the captain's identity secret if possible."
"You really aren't playing by the usual rules from the very start." Shanks recovered and broke into a laugh again. "Then let's go meet the true captain of the Thunder God Pirates."
Shanks, the first to recover, spoke up and interrupted everyone's shock. Although surprise still lingered on their faces, the previously indescribable heavy atmosphere instantly dissipated.
With Enel leading the way, the group quickly arrived at the very center of the island.
Jinbe, Moria, Trick, Wapol, Chloe, Catarina Devon, and the others were all standing behind a round table.
At the round table, a figure sat in one of the only two chairs.
"It's you..." Shanks' pupils contracted, his right hand unconsciously settling on Griffin.
"Hey, hey, this is a joke, right? Did we get hit by some kind of ability?"
Yasopp and the nearby Red-Hair Pirates stared at the figure seated before the round table as though they had seen a ghost, their faces filled with disbelief.
Such an absurd joke had actually appeared before their eyes, leaving them unable to believe what they were seeing.
The one seated there was the man tacitly recognized by the seas as the new Marine Hero after Garp, Ink Snake—Abraham Dawn!!
Yet the Thunder God Pirates' officers
