After thinking it over, Dawn looked at Enel.
At that moment, Enel's face was full of conflict and faint disappointment. Perhaps he had never expected the relic he had worked so hard to protect to be such a strange-looking fruit.
Dawn smiled and explained to the somewhat dejected Enel,
"This fruit is called a Devil Fruit in the Blue Sea. Eating it grants incredible powers, and this one appears to be a Logia-type fruit. Even among all Devil Fruits, this type is extremely valuable."
"Really? So what my parents left me was such a precious treasure?" Enel asked in a complicated tone as he looked at the fruit.
"If I eat it, will I be able to grow stronger faster and help Big Brother Dawn?"
"Of course." Dawn chuckled. "Logia fruits are far more precious than you imagine. If you train hard, you might even catch up to me before long."
Especially since this Devil Fruit is the Logia-type Rumble-Rumble Fruit, Dawn thought.
"I'll eat it!" Enel immediately made up his mind.
His parents' relic, along with his determination to become Dawn's companion, made Enel decide at once.
"Oh, right. You have to finish the whole fruit. Although Devil Fruits take effect after just one bite, there's a saying on the sea that finishing the fruit makes its power more complete."
"It might be a little hard to eat, though, so you'll have to endure it." Dawn looked at Enel with a mischievous grin.
"Don't worry, I'll definitely finish it." Enel patted his chest, brimming with confidence.
But Enel regretted it very quickly...
"Urgh... urgh..."
The instant he swallowed it, Enel nearly broke down. One hand clutched his throat while the other braced against the ground, and his body began retching uncontrollably.
Enel had never experienced anything like it before.
