On the boundless sea, there was nothing new in sight. Sailing across the ocean was like that—dull and tedious, to the point where one could not even tell whether they were heading in the right direction.
The salty sea breeze carried a faint chill. The sun was hidden behind the clouds today, so the temperature was not particularly hot.
At the moment, Dawn and the others sat on the deck exchanging combat insights and discussing interesting ways to develop their Devil Fruit abilities.
As for why they were not training hard?
The reason was obvious: they were short on food. Recently, most of the soldiers had been fishing with rods, hoping to catch enough seafood for an extra meal of seafood porridge.
The seafood porridge had also been Dawn's idea. Apparently, people here had no concept of savory porridge. At first, Dawn had merely wanted to cook some seafood porridge to give the soldiers a change of pace.

Everyone seemed to have grown fond of this random menu where they ate whatever porridge their catch allowed, and with Dawn's excellent cooking, no one complained.
But the food crisis had not passed. Even the steamed buns and rice were nearly gone. If this continued, they would probably have to send the Rear Admiral down to catch fish.
Just as Dawn was deep in thought, Sola shouted beside him.
"Dawn, I see an island! Look, look!"
Hearing Sola's cry, everyone, including the soldiers who had been fishing,
