Danger!

Android 17 looked at the pile of fragments and brain matter at his feet and curled his lip.

"Tch, I was going to ask him something. I didn't hold back."

But Android 17 didn't care. The energy was underground, after all. They just had to find the entrance. If there wasn't one, they could blast one open.

"I won't let you get away with this. We absolutely can't let the number of Androids increase any further."

Trunks trembled all over. He couldn't take it anymore.

First, there was an extra Android 16. Now there was that energy coming from underground. It wasn't especially strong—in fact, compared to him now, it was weak.

But the look on Dr. Gero's face just before he died had set off alarm bells in Trunks's mind.

After all, energy could be concealed. So even though the energy underground seemed weak, that didn't necessarily mean it really was.

He knew just how powerful Android 17 and Android 18 were.

According to Dr. Gero, Android 16 could kill Android 17 and Android 18, and even destroy the world.

And the one underground might be even stronger than Android 16.

Trunks couldn't handle such a huge variable anymore.

"Ah!!!"

Golden flames engulfed him, and his purple hair instantly turned golden and stood straight up.

His emerald-green eyes brimmed with murderous intent.

Trunks had only one thought now: destroy Android 16 before he woke up.

As for Android 17 and Android 18, Trunks knew full well that he couldn't beat them even if he gave it everything he had.

A massive amount of energy gathered in Trunks's hands, radiating a terrifying aura.

Before anyone could react, the ki blast in Trunks's hands shot toward Android 16's recharging pod.

"Boom!!!"

Under the blast's assault, the entire lab and the mountain around it were instantly leveled.

"If you were going to attack, you should've at least warned us first," Krillin complained.

They had managed to get out of the way in time, but apart from Vegeta, the others had still been caught in the blast's aftermath. They weren't injured, but they looked rather disheveled.

"You fool! What a pointless thing to do," Vegeta scolded.

"What do you mean, pointless?"

"Look over there."

Trunks looked in the direction Vegeta had indicated.

As the thick smoke cleared, Android 17 and Android 18 stood unharmed on the flattened mountaintop.

Even the recharging pod containing Android 16 was completely undamaged, thanks to Android 18 protecting it.

"An attack of that caliber is nothing but a pointless waste of energy," Vegeta said disdainfully.

Trunks said nothing, clenching his fists tight.

His attack hadn't managed to destroy Android 16. Now, it was even less likely to work.

Unless Vegeta agreed to hold off the two Androids with him while Krillin and the others went to destroy Android 16.

But that was impossible.

Vegeta wouldn't do that. He'd just watch Android 17 and Android 18 release Android 16.

And if Trunks tried to stop them, Vegeta would even hold him back.

So Trunks could only watch helplessly as Android 16 was released.

Soon, Android 18 opened the recharging pod.

A man with an orange mohawk and a green Battle Suit slowly rose from inside.

Android 16 stood over two meters tall. Though he said nothing, his presence put immense pressure on Krillin and the others.

"Hey, Android 16, this is the first time I've seen you move! You haven't been outside in years, have you?"

Android 16 gave no answer to Android 17's question. He just stood silently.

Android 17 didn't mind and continued, "Dr. Gero never wanted to let you out. Did you know that? He said you might kill me and Android 18!"

Android 18 said, "That's why we want to know what's going on."

Android 16 still didn't speak. He merely glanced at them.

Android 18 asked, "Do you have something to say? Or do you just not want to talk?"

"I think he's just naturally quiet," Android 17 said, folding his arms. He didn't seem to mind.

"Forget it. Let's go see the guy underground who can help us avenge Dr. Gero." Android 17 paused, then asked Android 16, "Dr. Gero has another lab underground, doesn't he? Do you know where the entrance is?"

At Android 17's question, Android 16's expression changed.

Then it returned to normal. He shook his head and said, "I don't know."

Android 17 said, "Well, look at that. You finally spoke."

"Your reaction is exactly the same as the one Dr. Gero programmed you to have!" Android 18 said, a little surprised. Dr. Gero had kept such a perfect Android locked up all this time.

After searching the area, the three of them finally found a deep passage underground.

Without much hesitation, they flew straight down into it.

"Um... should we go down there too and see who that guy is?" Krillin asked, a little afraid as he looked at the deep hole.

Vegeta looked at Krillin trembling and gave a scornful laugh.

"Heh. If you're scared, stay here. It's not like useless wimps like you would be any help down there."

With that, Vegeta jumped straight into the hole.

Behind him, Trunks parted his lips, about to say something, but then saw that Vegeta had already jumped in. He closed his mouth and followed him down.

The rest exchanged glances, but in the end, they all went in together.

Mo Yuan was panicking.

He'd just heard a huge explosion from above.

And there were two terrifying auras—at least a hundred times stronger than his own.

From the commotion above, Mo Yuan suspected that Android 17 and Android 18 had just awakened.

He'd made a huge racket down here, and his own energy had surely been exposed.

Even though he'd already concealed his aura,

the people above had definitely sensed it.

If he went out now, they might corner him.

But if he stayed put, they might come down any moment.

Just then, several unhurried footsteps sounded outside the door.

Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18.

Using his Mind's Eye, Mo Yuan saw the three people at the door.

The Mind's Eye was an ability Mo Yuan had awakened while he still couldn't control his body. With it, he could see everything within a kilometer.

And as his strength grew, its range would grow too.

At first, he could only cover the lab. Now, its range had expanded to a kilometer.

However, since the lab was underground, everything outside it within a kilometer was just earth. So he could only use this ability to absorb Vitality.

As for whether the Mind's Eye had any other functions, Mo Yuan didn't know yet. He would have to explore it slowly.

Seeing the three drawing closer,

Mo Yuan's eyes quickly swept over the surroundings, searching for somewhere to hide.
