Android 17 looked at the pile of debris mixed with brains beneath his feet and curled his lip.

"Tch, I was actually planning on asking him something. Didn't hold back enough."

However, Android 17 didn't care; after all, that energy signature was underground. He just needed to find the entrance, and if there wasn't one, he would simply blast one open.

Trunks looked in the direction Vegeta pointed.

As the billowing smoke cleared, Android 17 and Android 18 stood on the leveled hilltop, completely unscathed.

Even the stasis pod containing Android 16 remained undamaged, thanks to Android 18's protection.

"That level of attack was nothing more than a meaningless waste of energy," Vegeta said with disdain.

Trunks didn't say a word, his fists clenched tight.

The previous attack had failed to eliminate Android 16, and now it was even less likely to succeed.

Unless Vegeta was willing to help him hold off the two androids while Krillin and the others destroyed 16.

But that was impossible.

Because Vegeta wouldn't do that; he would only watch as 17 and 18 released 16.

If he tried to stop them, he would even be blocked by Vegeta.

Therefore, Trunks could only watch helplessly as 16 was released.

Soon, Android 18 opened the stasis pod.

A man with an orange mohawk, wearing a green combat suit, slowly rose from within.

Android 16's height of over two meters, though he remained silent, exerted immense pressure on Krillin and the others.

Upon hearing Android 17's words, Android 16's gaze shifted.

Then, returning to his calm state, he shook his head and said, "I am not sure."

Android 17 remarked, "Not easy, you finally opened your mouth to speak."

"Your reaction is exactly the same as the commands Dr. Gero programmed!" Android 18 was somewhat surprised; such a perfect android, yet Dr. Gero had kept him locked away all this time.

After the three of them searched the vicinity, they finally discovered a deep underground passage.

Without much hesitation, the three of them flew straight inside.

"Um... should we go down together and see that guy?" Krillin looked at the deep hole, feeling somewhat afraid.

Vegeta looked at Krillin's trembling appearance and gave a contemptuous sneer.

"Heh, if you're afraid, then stay here. It's not like you trash are of any use down there anyway."

Having said that, Vegeta jumped straight into the hole.
