At that moment, Hagrid had no time to ask Harry what was wrong before he discovered that behind them, a black fog seemed to be swallowing heaven and earth, blotting out the sky. Taking the motorcycle's two glittering taillights as its target, the black fog kept corroding and spreading toward them.

Feeling the pain in his head grow worse and worse, Harry could not help widening his eyes. Then he saw him: the man within the black fog. Voldemort flew with the wind like smoke, with no broom and no Thestral, his bald, snakelike face gleaming in the darkness.
