At dawn, a single dewdrop slid off a tender leaf, shattering into a thousand rays of golden light. Allen rose and ended his stance, completing the third movement of the Basic Body Refining Technique.
Finally mastered the third movement; I wonder what kind of surprise this will bring me. Allen was full of anticipation.
Allen's thoughts drifted back to a year and a half ago. After obtaining the Basic Body Refining Technique, he had spent the entire afternoon immersed in the book, carefully chewing over every word and tracing the diagrams in his mind thousands of times, mentally rehearsing the specific movements. Fortunately, there were no core subjects that afternoon, allowing Allen to get through it smoothly.
For the past year and a half, during every extracurricular period, Allen had been tutoring Harry and Flag at the campus study corner. As their grades soared, their friendship grew stronger with each provocation from Dudley and his gang. Without a doubt, the math teacher's hellish exams couldn't stump the trio, and at the finals of the campus talent show, their performance was a massive success, with applause and cheers echoing throughout the auditorium. In the final exams, Allen topped the grade with an impossibly perfect score in every subject, much to Mrs. Kelly's delight.
Of course, nothing made Allen happier or more interested than his study of Charms and his practice of the Basic Body Refining Technique. Practicing the Basic Body Refining Technique allowed Allen to control the muscles in different parts of his body with greater precision; it would help him with the precise trajectories needed when using a wand in the future, and he wouldn't have to worry about his hands shaking while processing ingredients for Potions.
Allen returned to his room, showered, and changed before heading downstairs. Aside from Daisy, the rest of his family had yet to wake up.
Thoughtfully, he brewed a pot of steaming, creamy breakfast tea for his family and set it on the table in front of Daisy.
"Big sister, I've arranged to meet Harry with Flag today. Could you please tell Mom for me?"
"Alright, go have fun, but remember to be back before dinner." The fragrant milk tea put Daisy in a wonderful mood. Amidst the swirling steam, she didn't forget to remind her younger brother.
"Don't worry!" The door clicked shut as Allen left the house.
