"Shut up, Sirius Black!" Allen had to raise his voice to cow the two of them again. Then he stood, shoved the window open, and suddenly called out, "Flobberworms, come! Flobberworms, come!"

Two brown, wormlike creatures, roughly ten inches long—about the diameter of a dinner plate—and thick and round in body, flew in from the damp ditch beside the castle wall below and landed on the Headmaster's desk. They had never been fond of moving in the first place, and after experiencing the first flight of their worm lives, they dared move even less, quietly playing dead. But immediately afterward, Allen used the Multi-Soul Curse—an Unforgivable Curse if used on a person—to take control of their bodies. These things, whose two ends differed little and both secreted mucus, suddenly sprang up, their bodies tangling with the other caterpillar. The worms, which normally liked eating lettuce leaves, began biting into the other one's head.

At that moment, the Flobberworm whose head was being gnawed on soon stopped struggling and silently stiffened. Allen directly pulled Sirius Black onto a chair. "Sit still and don't move!"
