As everyone could have predicted, after Scrimgeour went on strike, public order in the Magical World of the United Kingdom began to suffer.
In just a few short days, with deliberate support from certain forces at home and abroad, the number of cases filed by the Department of Magical Law Enforcement rose rapidly, badly damaging the Ministry of Magic's reputation in the Magical World.
Wizards did not dare go out alone at night. Even in the daytime, they tried not to go to more remote places, and when they went out, they no longer wore the pocket watches, jewelry, and other items they had once used to show off their wealth.
On relatively remote streets or in alleys, if an Auror or Hit Wizard was alone, they might even be provoked by criminal gangs. At present, only the Floating City belonging to Harris, because it could openly make use of Umbrella's armed forces to maintain order, still preserved an appearance of everything being normal.
The Immigrants who had previously begun gathering to protest because of issues of faith and inequality became one of Umbrella's key targets for stability maintenance and prevention. Under the unprecedented level of security in the Floating City, those Immigrants had no way to hold protests there, so they turned their attention to the British mainland, taking advantage of the Patrol Aurors' strike during this period to try to spread their ideas to others.
This behavior, together with the contrast between security inside and outside the Floating City, intensified the dissatisfaction of wizards living on the ground and deepened the hostility between the two sides.
Then someone went even more mad and set their sights on the Ministry of Magic building itself, whose defenses had been weakened after the Armed Aurors were sent out.
On the seventh
