But as soon as he neared the living room, before Allen had even gone in, he heard lively conversation coming from inside, mixed with cheerful laughter.
That let the somewhat nervous Allen breathe a sigh of relief. At the very least, it meant the family had called them back in such a hurry for something that was not bad. When he and Penelope entered the room, they saw the whole family gathered around the sofas in the living room, as if they were all watching something.
Sensing someone enter the room, Morgan le Fay immediately leaned half her body out from the crowd, her face brimming with joy as she waved madly at Allen. "Where did you run off to, you little brat? Hurry up and get over here... Ah, Penelope, you come here too. Come to me."
"Coming." Once Penelope received the order, she immediately let go of Allen and trotted over.
"Mom, what was so urgent?" Allen noticed the happy expressions on the people around him and relaxed completely. Looking at the silly grin on Lenn's face, he could not help asking, "Did Lenn and the cousins get together?"
The expression on Lenn's face froze.
"You little bastard, hurry up and come see the fine mess you made. What are you dawdling for?" Owen urged Allen, then pushed Albert, who was standing beside him. "Albert, stop staring like you're possessed. Make room for your younger brother. He still hasn't seen yet."
Then came the sound of a baby giggling.
"Did my little sisters do something funny again?" Allen leaned the staff in his hand against the wall, then suddenly realized that his two baby sisters were being held off to the side by Narcissa and Fleur. Clearly, the baby's voice just now had not come from their direction.
