Seeing Pansy's expression, Ginny, unwilling to be outdone, immediately pulled from her collar the Blood Pact Harry had given her—a silver Stag antler, with two horns crossed and a ruby set between them. She held the Blood Pact in her palm and said to Pansy defiantly, "The Blood Pact itself is the most beautiful thing. You added so many flashy, gaudy decorations to it—your taste is terrible. "I think it's because your family's old shabby poverty is impossible to shake. Even now that you have money, your head's still full of saving..." Pansy said halfway, still feeling unsatisfied. Then, looking at Ginny, who was still stretching herself up in defiance, she suddenly thought of the other girl's age and smiled. "Draco and I are already engaged. Once we graduate, we'll hold the wedding... A little girl like you wouldn't understand any of this..."
And what had originally been an argument over patriotism ultimately turned into their girlfriends showing off their Blood Pacts.
Draco and Harry watched helplessly as the matter veered wildly off course in just a few short sentences and even dragged marriage into it, leaving both of them so awkward
