With the establishment of the Great Wall in the Underworld region of the Rocky Mountains, Hogwarts Floating City, serving as an example, had already come to a stop in the sky nearby.
Looking down from the bastion walls at the edge of the floating city itself, one could take in the whole stretch of the Great Wall at a glance. At night especially, in the pitch-black darkness, the scattered lights in those blockhouses gathered into a long dragon, set against the distant, gray, lifeless world.
In the Great Hall of Hogwarts castle, wreathed in cloud and mist, the lights blazed brilliantly. The end-of-term feast was being held there.
The hall was already packed. The Great Hall had been redecorated in Ravenclaw blue and bronze, and on the wall behind the staff table hung an enormous banner painted with the Ravenclaw Giant Eagle. This also meant that the Ravenclaw table was particularly lively, because every Little Eagle was celebrating their seventh consecutive House Cup victory.
Most of those eating, drinking, talking freely, and laughing heartily with everyone were the younger wizards. The seventh-years who were about to graduate were spending their last day at Hogwarts as students. Though they had not yet left, their hearts were already filled with the sorrow of parting.
