Countless Dementors drifted out from those heavy clouds, packed so densely layer upon layer that they looked like they had stirred up a Dementor tornado.
Countless strips of rotten, tattered shrouds fluttered in the air. Hooded, they immediately pounced on the Dragons, and together with their foul stench, they looked like rotten ribbonfish hanging upside down. There were simply too many Dementors, and they came too fast. The Dragons and the wizards on their backs, who had been focused on what lay below and were hardly prepared, were instantly entangled and surrounded. That familiar icy feeling seeped through their organs, and mist began to blur their vision.
The sudden attack, and those dark clumps of Dementors, clearly made the Dragons instinctively loathe these things as well, and they began to fly away. They roared irritably, frantically shaking their bodies and twisting their necks in the sky, trying to shake the Dementors off. Some even lashed their tails, attempting to scatter them.
But these Dementors transcended life and death. In this world, apart from a very few wizards like Allen, there were hardly any other methods; otherwise, such creatures could not be killed by any means. So for a moment, only those wizards especially skilled at the Patronus Charm managed to successfully use Expecto Patronum in a short time to free themselves.
More and more of these disgusting things surged in from the black clouds on every side. They clung tightly to the Dragons, covering their skin like bloodsucking leeches, latching firmly onto the Dragons and refusing to let go, and they began using their means of draining happiness and hope.
And the monsters that tried to approach the Dragons' heads and use the Dementor's Kiss to suck out their souls were blasted far away by dragon breath—flames and high temperatures
