The Incantation provided by Fornis passed the system's inspection without issue. Allen lifted the Magic Orb and said to the little green people, "Then I'll begin."
"Please!" Fornis and his grandson held hands and bowed deeply to Allen in unison.
After closing his eyes to compose himself, Allen held the Magic Orb of Goddess of Luck Fols in both hands and loudly recited the Incantation with a sincere prayer in his heart. Streams of magic flowed from Allen's body into the orb. Silver light burst forth from it, gradually spreading in a gentle glow. The Lucky Elves touched by the light broke free from their restraints one after another, joyfully stroking their hands and feet.
Fornis and Fult also gained complete freedom. Hand in hand, they walked behind Allen and pressed their hands against his back. "Let us lend you a hand." The immense power of their prayers made the orb's light spread rapidly. The sound of chanting echoed throughout the entire subway, solemn and sacred. Allen's heart filled with a sense of holiness. Saving an entire race was more meaningful than receiving any honor.
The Lucky Elves spontaneously arranged themselves into leaf-like patterns and began chanting Incantations Allen could not understand at all. The entire carriage shook rhythmically along with the chant. Fult held out his hands to Allen, signaling for him to take them, and Allen quickly grabbed hold of him. In an instant, the entire carriage seemed to burst from the earth. The dazzling sunlight immediately drew cheers from the Lucky Elves.
Allen looked down. Freed from the shackles of the Lizard Subway and the Confounding Curse, the crowds within the subway returned to their former clamor.
The Lucky Elves rode the lizards into the azure sky, toward the warm sunlight. Allen and the Lucky Elves hid among the lizards' scales. As the scales opened and closed, sunlight and darkness alternated, while the wind howled past their ears. Fult cried out happily, "This is what freedom feels like!"
At last, they stopped on a silent, deserted lawn. Allen jumped down from the lizard, while Fornis led the elves down after him.
"Allen, thank you for helping our Lucky Elf race. You will always be our good friend." Fornis looked at Allen gratefully.
"Thank you. May our friendship last forever!" Allen said.
"This is a potion we received from the Goddess of Luck, meant to increase a wizard's magical potential. Unlike the Magic Boosting Potion, which works quickly, it mainly greatly increases your potential for magical growth. Please accept this gift from us!" Fornis smiled sincerely at Allen.
"Take it, Allen. It's truly useful. You won't have to struggle so much when casting Charms in the future." As soon as Fult finished speaking, kind laughter from the elves rang across the lawn.
"Okay, I'll accept it. Thank you, everyone!" Allen accepted the elves' goodwill with a smile.
"Friends, it's getting late. I have to go." After glancing at the sky, Allen hurriedly said goodbye.
"Where are you going, Allen? We can give you a ride," Fult asked.
"I need to go to Diagon Alley." Allen looked around at the desolate surroundings and did not refuse Fult's kindness.
Fornis said to Fortel, "Fortel, take the others and rest for a while. I'll see Allen off and be back soon."
Fornis gestured for Allen to grab his arm, and Allen quickly clung to him. In an instant, they appeared at the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron. It was Apparition. Fornis was an elf brimming with magic, and taking Allen along with him was no problem at all.
The two embraced once more in farewell, and Fornis vanished in the blink of an eye. Allen walked easily into the Leaky Cauldron. After making a round inside, he found that Mrs. Harris and the others had not arrived yet. Women could spend ages discussing how to accessorize a single outfit, let alone when they had so many clothes to buy!
"Great, I still have time to contact Harry." Allen strode toward the owl contact station, intending to hire a qualified owl to contact Harry.
I hope Harry hasn't left Diagon Alley yet. With a trace of apology in his heart, Allen tied the written parchment to the owl's leg.
