The writing on the light screen slowly faded, then displayed a question: "Where does time begin?"
This question was truly unusual for Allen. As far as Allen's past life was concerned, his time had already ended. But Allen had been reborn into the world of Harry Potter, which was equivalent to his time being traced back to the beginning. Therefore, from Allen's perspective, time was merely a vague concept; it had no specific physical form. If you exist, it is there! If you do not exist, it is not there!
However, it was clear that this question was not testing Allen's own personal insights into time.
After organizing his thoughts, a flash of inspiration struck Allen: "The present time ends just now, and future time begins at the present."
It must be said that this was a clever answer. The bronze door creaked open, clearly acknowledging Allen's response.
Behind the door, mist swirled, and Allen felt as if he were looking into a void. As Allen stepped into this void, a yellowish planet with a halo of clouds soon appeared before him, rotating slowly. Allen observed it carefully for a long time, unable to help but be drawn in by its beauty and mystery. Without realizing it, he reached out to touch it. The moment his fingers felt the softness of the clouds, the planet flew away like a startled beast, vanishing into the mist.
Instantly, all the mist began to swirl around Allen. Allen felt as if he were at the center of a tornado; the outer layers were turbulent and surging, while the center remained calm. Allen stayed composed, watching the situation unfold. After countless rotations, the outer mist drifted away, and gradually, the inner layers disappeared as well. What presented itself before Allen was a vast, boundless expanse of stars, as if the ceiling of the common room had been magnified countless times.
An ethereal female voice occupied the space: "Only a wizard of superior intellect can pass through the Mist Space. Please find the planet you just saw within this universe. You have ten minutes. Passing allows you to proceed to the next level; otherwise, you will become one with the Mist Space."
Wisdom is a high-level, comprehensive ability that includes perception, knowledge, memory, understanding, decision-making, and more. Clearly, this level was testing his memory, observation, and decision-making skills.
Allen did indeed possess a photographic memory thanks to the Super Scholar System, but that ability did not include images! Among these boundless stars, at a single glance, there were thousands that looked similar to that yellowish planet. To distinguish and successfully find it with the naked eye in just ten minutes was easier said than done! For Allen at this moment, it was an almost impossible task.
Time ticked away, not pausing for Allen's contemplation. Allen made a prompt decision and contacted the Super Scholar System in his mind: "System, System, take a look quickly, can you provide any help?"
The system's ethereal voice remained devoid of fluctuation, seemingly unable to sense the anxiety in its host's heart. "Host, you have not yet completed your previous library mission; I cannot provide you with additional assistance." Allen continued to call out to the system, but it remained silent.
Just then, Allen suddenly remembered an item in his storage space. At this moment, he felt incredibly fortunate for his good luck back then.
"Open storage space," Allen said with a tone of certainty that brooked no argument.
The system storage space quickly appeared in Allen's mind. Allen selected the archaic parchment tied with a red string. The red string fell away automatically, and the parchment slowly unfurled, revealing the words: "Invincible Aura: 12 minutes."
Below the text, the function was noted: it could intercept time or be used all at once. Within the time covered by the aura, the host could solve any difficult problem.
Without hesitation, Allen immediately chose to "use Invincible Aura for three minutes." A clear stream flowed out from the storage slot, and Allen felt a sense of mastery, calm and composed.
He felt wonderful now, as if the stars were all under his control. He searched through the endless starry sky, constantly eliminating distracting stars. The image of the target planet was incredibly clear in his mind, and compared to these stars, Allen could quickly capture every minute difference. Luck was on his side; just as the three minutes were about to expire, he found the target planet.
Allen hurriedly fired a red signal with his wand, marking the spot above the target planet.
Although the cold female voice did not appear again, the rotating, shattering starry sky left no doubt: he had cleared the level!
The cosmic stars in this space shattered into countless pieces and vanished as they spun.
Only the planet Allen had marked remained suspended before him, slowly deforming and transforming into a small European-style tower. The tower door opened silently. Allen walked in and saw a thin, translucent light screen quietly suspended in the air behind a row of three-seater European sofas.
At this moment, the light screen was blank. Through it, one could see the magnificent decorations behind. This tower was highly artistic, decorated in white and gold, with exquisite furniture and luxurious carpets inside, most of which appeared to be the work of English and French artisans. The tower ceiling was circular, adorned with ivory and gold, and a rounded, arched crystal chandelier hung in a spiral staircase shape in the air. The tops of the surrounding walls were painted with scenes of wizards participating in the Wars of the Roses in the fifteenth century.
The light screen before Allen erupted with blue light, and the cosmic star map that had just turned into fragments reassembled on the screen.
A model identical to the tower he was in appeared in the lower right corner of the screen. Countless golden lines crisscrossed the star map.
The same female voice spoke: "Raise your wand and cast the 'Move' spell to complete the cosmic shuttle game. Completing the game means passing the level; otherwise, you will remain here forever."
There was no way back; he could only—press forward with all his might!
