Queen Vina of the Unicorns and the Unicorn warriors who had sacrificed themselves in the Mirror of Erised Illusion—they were alive! They spread their snowy-white wings and flew through the air from the round opening high in the distant wall.

Gailis and Gaia flew forward in delighted surprise. The family of three affectionately touched their foreheads and horns together. The other Unicorn warriors eagerly greeted one another as well, like old human friends reunited after a long separation.

The Unicorns who had taken shelter outside also returned to the settlement. The moment their wings grew out, they knew Gailis and the others had succeeded. The little golden Unicorns hopped around Allen, while some spread their immature wings and clumsily learned to fly.

The weather in the Unicorn settlement was wonderful. The sky was clear and blue, and a gentle breeze stirred Allen's soft blonde hair and blew into his heart.

The Unicorns treated Allen to the finest feast they could prepare: all kinds of colorful berries whose names he did not know, sweet-smelling malt syrup, mellow fruit wine brewed from crushed berries, and more. What left Allen both amused and helpless was that many little Unicorns brought over what they believed to be the tenderest, juiciest grass, blinking their large, round, watery eyes as they enthusiastically invited him to taste it.

"Let us thank our most honored, friendliest, and most trusted friend—Allen—with a resounding cheer!" Joyful neighing echoed across heaven and earth as the kind Unicorns looked at Allen warmly.

"It was he who appeared when our Unicorn race needed help most. It was he who disregarded his own safety and faced life and death alongside us. It was he who, with wisdom and courage, fought valiantly and lifted the curse that had plagued the Unicorns for a thousand years.
