When Allen returned from 1066 to the night of 1996, he found himself once again standing inside the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries Death Chamber, before that stone archway that looked extremely ancient, shabby, and decayed.
In the chaotic room, Allen spotted his mother at once, sitting on the stone steps and wiping away her tears, as well as Daisy, who had an arm half around her while wiping her own tears and softly comforting her. Though he wanted to go forward and reunite with his family, the people waiting for rescue behind that ragged Veil left him no time for pleasantries, and his figure vanished at once.
"Huh? Alert! Intruder!" an Auror cried in surprise, immediately issuing a warning, but in the next second Allen's figure disappeared. It was not just him; several other Aurors, from different angles, also saw this happen.
A wizard had just appeared before the archway, his whole body radiating a terrifying aura. His hooded head was lowered slightly, making his face impossible to see clearly, but beneath his head of silver hair, his skin was as pale as that of someone not among the living. Though he remained there for only a very brief moment, so brief that these Aurors almost thought they had imagined it, they still clearly saw the bone belt tied around his waist, made from the skull of a horned devil, giving off the aura of Hell.
They quickly raised the alarm. The Aurors in the room moved one after another; some rushed swiftly toward the archway, some rapidly gathered in front of Mrs. Harris and Daisy to protect them, and others immediately tried to contact the Auror Office to report the situation here to their superiors.
In the blink of an eye, that person was gone. The others
