The subsequent battles for the seventh years and fourth years were no more intense or exciting than the fights between the fifth and sixth years, because neither year had produced overwhelmingly powerful figures like Luna, Hermione, or Draco. After already witnessing two fierce contests in very different styles, the young wizards found these two matches much duller.

Only at the end of the seventh-year battle did a little farce break out.

The last surviving member of the Training Class was Eddie Carmichael, the wizard who had earned twelve Outstanding grades in his O.W.L.s in fifth year.
