Though the reporters were somewhat disappointed that they had not won Ravenclaw's favor, even setting aside the far-too-fantastical news that Hogwarts founder Rowena Ravenclaw was somehow still alive and might even have become a true god, the mere fact that tonight, at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, Allen Harris had received a Phoenix bestowed by Ravenclaw was already news enough to shake the entire magical world. Before this, there had only been two Phoenixes in the world in this era that had been tamed by wizards. After tonight, there would now be a third.
They hurriedly set up their video cameras, and many thrust their microphones in front of Allen, firing off questions all at once.

The ruddy-faced wizard from earlier had not followed the others out. He stayed indoors, looking somewhat forlorn and lonely as he gazed at Ravenclaw's shrine, his eyes deep. Ravenclaw's miracle had indeed been real. The power he had just sensed was entirely different from magic, and that made him even more displeased...

At the sound, the red-faced wizard's gloomy pupils suddenly widened. He jerked his gaze toward the shrine, and abruptly realized, from the trembling of his own body—at some unknown point having yielded to
