Sensing the threat, the Hundred-Armed Demon stopped its reckless charge and instead used its dense mass of tentacles to grab broken trees and stones and hurl them at the Arachne. They struck the Arachne's abdomen, which was covered in exoskeletal armor, with a series of bang, bang, bang sounds, then bounced away.

Uninjured, the Arachne Rose was enraged by the boldness of this demon that ranked even lower than itself. Its body vanished from where it stood, and with its teleportation ability it appeared above the Hundred-Eyed Demon in an instant. Opening its mouth from above, it sprayed, and a vast sheet of tough, silvery-white sticky webbing came down over the demon's head and face.

The demon stretched out its tentacles to tear at the spiderwebs. At first, it could still easily break free of the entanglement, but as the Arachne spat more and more webbing, the tough strands even wound some of its arms tightly together, layer after layer, coil after coil.

Experienced in hunting demons, the Arachne moved freely through the webbing it had spat and began crawling toward the Hundred-Eyed Demon. Its sharp limbs stabbed blind the eyes in the demon's palms and tore off the arms trapped by the webs—the demon the Death Eaters had pinned such high hopes on, after killing several of their own, had shown no strength at all before it was about to be finished off by the Arachne.

At the same time, the silk the Arachne had just spat seemed wasted, but in truth it had already connected itself along the cacti and trees into a web, separating its prey from the other Death Eaters. The highly sticky strands severely slowed the Death Eaters who were trying to go help.
