At last, no longer under the effects of Voldemort's potion or Fat Happy Water, Allen picked up the old wand he had taken from Dumbledore. Judging by its appearance, the brown Elder Wand was roughly fifteen inches long and looked knotty and uneven. Allen's fingers slid over its six raised knuckles, and the silver metal ring connecting the middle felt cold to the touch. Holding it, Allen gave it a light shake.
"The old wand possesses tremendous magic, and it is also the wand least capable of emotion, the coldest and cruelest. It has no loyalty to its master and only considers the ability of the wizard holding it. So to truly conquer it, you must defeat its previous master." The old wand spun in Allen's hand. "It has a long and bloody history. Wizards dueled for it, murdered for it—slaughter was almost inevitable."
"That was the Grim Reaper using it on purpose to make people fight." Luna nodded, then frowned slightly and shrank her neck.
"The ironic thing is, it doesn't actually need to be that brutal. Expelliarmus is enough." Allen raised his hand toward Luna and made an inviting gesture.
Then Allen lifted the old wand in his hand. As Luna cast her spell, the old wand seemed to be struck by a tremendous force and flew away, spinning through the air. Just as it was about to hit the wall, Luna used Accio, making it swiftly change direction and fall into her hand—she sniffed it a little warily, and only relaxed when she finally smelled nothing strange.
Watching Luna play with the old wand, Allen thought of the nightmare-like visions he had just seen. After hesitating for a moment, he still asked the question troubling him. "Luna, there's actually something I've been a little concerned about but
