Once the serious matters were settled, Allen and the others chatted idly for a while. By then, the food taking shape in the Tower had filled the place with delicious aromas, and lavish dishes covered the dining table. A few more figures appeared in the Tower: Albert, Daisy, and the others had returned, and Hermione had also brought Helena and Emily over from Hogwarts by teleportation.
After entering the Tower, Helena let go of Hermione's arm, curtsied, and thanked her. Emily, however, looked rather pale. She had eaten too many snacks before coming back, and after Hermione brought her along by Side-Along Apparition, she was a little travel-sick and seemed listless.
Helena quietly bowed to Owen, Allen, and the others. Morgan le Fay, who had already set out the bowls, plates, knives, and forks, was delighted to see her granddaughter. She pulled her over and pointed at the dining table. "The dishes on the plates with metal rims have stronger flavors."
"Thank you, Grandmother." Helena looked at the food on those plates and knew her grandmother had specially prepared it for her. In truth, she still had not regained the habit of eating. Once the novelty of tasting flavors had passed, eating became rather troublesome. To maintain grace and propriety, she had to go to the bathroom after swallowing and make herself incorporeal again so the food would fall out.
That evening's gathering was extremely pleasant. The huge, gorgeous dining table was piled high with sumptuous dishes, and everyone had the foods they liked set before them.
Owen kept forking the two dishes in front of him—Steak and Kidney Pie and Raw Pork Mince Hedgehog. "Morgan le Fay, these two dishes are really excellent."
"Penelope made them. She's very talented in this area. She learns as soon as she's taught,"
