Bellatrix, holding a photo of the three of them, sprang onto the bed, only for Andromeda to snatch it away at once. Narcissa kept asking her two older sisters for the photo, and the room was filled with joy.
But just then, a middle-aged wizard and witch pushed the door open and walked straight in. The red-faced wizard's features were twisted. He glared fiercely at Bella and roared, "Give it to me. Now!"
"I knew learning Legilimency would be useful. I can see through your little schemes perfectly." Bellatrix sat on the bed and shot back without backing down, while Narcissa and Andromeda stood uneasily beside it.
"This—is—important!" The wizard bit out every syllable. "Purebloods are already slowly declining. We must ensure that the Black family's bloodline remains as pure and as powerful as it has always been!"
Narcissa was frightened by her father's shout. Andromeda looked worriedly at her sister, who was facing him head-on, while Bellatrix, receiving his fury directly, merely scratched her neck with her wand as if she did not care at all, her lips silently forming the exact same words the wizard was saying.
"You must set a good example for others. You should know that Muggles are starting wars right now." The more the wizard spoke, the angrier he became, his eyes wide and his face flushed crimson. "Their weak-willed blood has absolutely nothing to do with ours."
