Promotion to Chunin

Uchiha Ying Yue had already decided to take the Chunin Exam. He couldn't wait to tell Hatake Sakumo about it.

At the training ground, Ying Yue found Sakumo instructing the other ninja.

"Teacher Sakumo," Ying Yue said, bowing respectfully. "I have a request."

Hatake Sakumo stopped what he was doing and turned to look at Ying Yue, a hint of approval in his eyes.

He had long noticed Ying Yue's tremendous progress during this time, and was very pleased with how much he had grown.

"Ying Yue, what is it?" Sakumo asked calmly.

Uchiha Ying Yue answered without hesitation. "Teacher, I believe I have the strength and experience to become a Chunin, so I hope I can take the Chunin Exam."

At this, Sakumo's eyes flickered with thought.

He knew Ying Yue's abilities already surpassed those of an ordinary Chunin, and even some Jonin. The Chunin Exam was a necessary step in his growth.

Sakumo had also noticed the calmness and intelligence Ying Yue displayed in battle. These qualities showed he was ready to face greater challenges.

Hatake Sakumo nodded and smiled. "Ying Yue, your growth has truly surprised me. Not only have you made tremendous strides in strength, you've also shown a rare calmness and capacity for thought in battle. In fact, I believe you all qualify for promotion to Chunin."

Hearing Sakumo's approval, Ying Yue felt relieved and excited.

Sakumo continued, "It's not just you. Ayane and Chinatsu have made great progress, too. Your whole squad is far stronger than an ordinary Chunin team, so your promotion is only natural."

Ying Yue smiled faintly, his confidence growing stronger. "Thank you for recognizing us, Teacher Sakumo."

Sakumo nodded, then said, "In that case, go get Ayane and Chinatsu. We'll head to the Hokage Building together and apply for the Chunin Exam."

Ying Yue immediately set off and quickly found Hyuga Ayane and Yamanaka Chinatsu.

The two were practicing ninjutsu at the other end of the training ground. When they saw Ying Yue approaching, Ayane and Chinatsu stopped what they were doing.

"Ying Yue, is something the matter?" Chinatsu asked softly, curiosity in her eyes.

Ying Yue smiled. "I just told Teacher Sakumo that I wanted to take the Chunin Exam, and he agreed. He thinks our abilities already surpass the Chunin level. Now we just need to formally apply for the exam."

Ayane and Chinatsu both looked excited when they heard this.

"Really?" Ayane asked, unable to hold back, her eyes shining with anticipation.

Ying Yue nodded. "That's right. Teacher Sakumo wants us to go to the Hokage Building together and apply. Are you ready?"

"Of course!" Chinatsu replied excitedly. "I'm ready. We can leave whenever you are."

Ayane nodded in agreement. "I'm ready, too. Let's go."

Once the three had gathered, they followed Hatake Sakumo to the Hokage Building.

As they walked, Ying Yue felt elated, though a little nervous as well.

The Hokage Building symbolized the highest authority in Konoha. This time, they would enter this solemn place and take an important step in their careers as ninja.

The Hokage Building was imposing and grand. Guards stood ready all around it, a testament to Konoha's strength and authority.

Sakumo led Ying Yue Squad to the entrance. When the guards saw Hatake Sakumo leading them, they immediately stepped aside and saluted.

"Please, come in, Jonin Sakumo," one of the guards said respectfully.

Sakumo nodded in acknowledgment and led Ying Yue and the others into the lobby of the Hokage Building.

Their purpose was clear: to apply for the Chunin Exam.

Inside the lobby, Sarutobi Hiruzen was handling official business. When he saw Sakumo and Ying Yue Squad approaching, he smiled kindly.

"Sakumo, what brings you here?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked with a smile, his warm gaze settling on Ying Yue and his teammates.

Sakumo bowed respectfully, then said, "Lord Hokage, I've brought Ying Yue and the others to apply for the Chunin Exam. Their abilities already far exceed the Chunin level, and I believe they fully qualify for promotion."

At this, Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded. "I've heard about your abilities, too. Since Sakumo has approved, I have no objection to your taking the Chunin Exam."

Hearing the Hokage's approval, Ying Yue and his teammates felt filled with anticipation and excitement.

"Ying Yue, Ayane, Chinatsu..." Sarutobi Hiruzen murmured the three names, feeling a quiet sense of satisfaction.

He had long heard of Ying Yue Squad's impressive performance. Their overwhelming strength and teamwork in the Chunin Exam had confirmed his expectations of them.

As he read through the file, Sarutobi Hiruzen couldn't help smiling with satisfaction.
