"What?" Yan Huan frowned.
The bridge was out on the street. Did that mean... he could only watch from the street?
"So we can't go straight to the theater to watch?"
"That's right." Firefly nodded.
"Guests generally have to watch from outside."
Once Yan Huan had picked out a viewing spot, Firefly said,
"All right, you'll remember where this is, won't you?"
"Then let's head to our next stop, Aetherium Park. It gets crowded there, so stay close to me!"
Yan Huan followed Firefly through the crowd and into Aetherium Park.
Brilliant musical notes filled the air overhead, while multicolored neon lights flashed all around. It was gorgeous.
"This is the largest park in Golden Moment, and a symbol of Penacony's soda culture."
"Look—that enormous soda bottle is Sodalu's headquarters!"
Yan Huan looked into the distance. Sure enough, a gigantic Sodalu bottle rose from the ground and pierced the clouds.
Its bottle-shaped exterior was one thing. More striking was the open cap, which sent streams of Sodalu spraying into the air.
"They say Sodalu began as a sweet medicinal drink popular back when this place was a prison. Mr. Susa invented it, so it was called Suss Water."
"Later, an interstellar merchant named Aetherium saw a business opportunity and bought the Suss Water recipe."
"He pumped it full of bubbles, renamed it Sodalu, and even created Syrupism. He claimed drinking Sodalu was a whole new way of life and used it to build the business empire we see today."
Yan Huan glanced at the arcade machines nearby, all of them topped with tanks of Sodalu that powered them, and nodded slightly.
There really was Sodalu everywhere
