"You actually guessed it?"
"Well, I suppose that's fate."
The short Dream Weaver promptly pulled a lighter out from under her skirt and clicked it on, producing a tiny flame.
The other Dream Weavers sighed as they watched her light the cigarette between her lips.
"Normally, tourists aren't allowed inside."
"But there are exceptions..."
The short Dream Weaver descended the stairs and said to the Hounds guard, "These two are helping me move some things. We're going in together, so step aside."
Yan Huan nodded. His efforts had finally paid off.
Firefly was excited too.
After all those twists and turns, they were finally getting in.
But just as all three thought they had succeeded, the Hounds guard gave the Dream Weaver a disdainful glance.
"Do you think I'm an idiot?"
"You obviously took a bribe to let these two tourists wander around in there."
"Acting like you're somebody important, putting on airs with me. What level of Dream Weaver are you, smoking here like that?"
"Put it out!"
"Huh?"
The short Dream Weaver stared in shock as he knocked the cigarette from her mouth. Then she snapped, "You bastard! Couldn't you let me show off a little in front of outsiders?"
"Show off my ass!"
"People with status pull that crap on me every day. I'm practically a doorman now. Why should I give you the satisfaction?"
"Get lost... or I'll report you to the higher-ups!"
With her career under threat, the short Dream Weaver slunk back up the stairs.
Yan Huan watched her go and muttered scornfully, "Damn. There go two perfectly good Furong Wangs."
Then he turned to Firefly.
"Got a plan yet? Because if not, I'm going to punch him."
"Don't... Fighting is wrong," Firefly said quickly.
"I—I've got one."
With that, Firefly walked up to
