Misha's voice and white bullet comments appeared again.
'...Why did you specifically choose this place?'
'Mikhail, you look like you have something on your mind...'
'Is it something important?'
As Yan Huan and Firefly pressed onward, those words appeared in sync with their footsteps.
"Looks like after that teammate found Mikhail, he took this same route, just like us."
Yan Huan stopped and pondered.
"And the Mikhail he found seemed to be somewhat off."
Firefly nodded.
"I felt that too."
Yan Huan thought aloud.
"Maybe what he found wasn't Mikhail at all, but some other kind of being..."
'Tell me, Mikhail.'
The two continued onward, and the path ahead grew increasingly cramped and dark.
'It's... so dark here...'
'Mikhail?'
'Don't go, okay?'
His voice became more and more urgent...
'At least take me with you...'
'Okay? Please? I'm begging you!'
As they quickened their pace, Misha spoke faster and faster, until he sounded as though he were pleading.
"I feel like this guy's about to shatter." Yan Huan's eye twitched.
He reached out and pushed open a room.
This room seemed rather special. Unlike the outside, it was not gloomy or claustrophobic.
Balloons, building blocks, origami, toys...
A blazing fire burned in the warm fireplace, making the entire room brilliantly bright.
'This is the Origami Birdie I folded for you...'
As Yan Huan and Firefly approached, the person-high building blocks scattered across the floor began to stir.
They made sounds, as if a thousand mouths were speaking at once...
