"We're family. Why be so ruthless toward one another?"
"Then get out of the way."
Sam kept his gaze fixed on Black Swan and Acheron.
"The detective game has begun. You shouldn't be here."
The next moment, the three of them began fighting.
Yan Huan stood at the back, slowly crouching down to observe the situation without making a move.
In an instant, the entire hall became a sea of fire.
Amid the scorching flames, Black Swan covered Acheron as she attacked Sam, then turned back with a frown.
"Mr. Yan Huan, what do you mean by this? Aren't we companions?"
"Yeah, so I'm watching from here."
Yan Huan gave an awkward smile.
"That's my second uncle. How am I supposed to know whose side to take?"
"You two carry on. If you get hurt, I'll heal you up."

At the center of the flames, Acheron gripped her still-sheathed longsword and fought Sam to a standstill.
When she had cleared out those little monsters earlier, she had not shown much of her astonishing skill. Now, though, it was plain to see.
She was even flashier than he had imagined.
Just in terms of movement, Yan Huan could clearly see that Sam seemed somewhat unable to keep up with Acheron's speed.
But his second uncle was a mech. A few hits did not hurt him much, and he also had thermal weapons at his disposal.
With Black Swan's support, Acheron and Sam traded blows evenly.
