Acheron suddenly lowered her blade and looked at Sam. "Stand down."
"What's wrong?" Sam dropped her fighting stance and stood before Acheron.
Acheron's gaze remained calm.
"I've seen many disguises that seemed clever. They could hide appearances, but not what lay beneath."
"Whether it was Miss MacArthur or you, here and now..."

Acheron: "Your targets were always that Memokeeper and me."
