Sampo patted his new uniform and smiled.
"I got invited in for a chat. Now I'm a temporary Hound, working off my sentence. You get it?"
"Oh, so that's what happened."
Sparkle gave him a wicked grin.
"Then work hard on that sentence. I'll leave all the troublemakers here to you."
"No, no, that won't do." Sampo hurriedly waved his hands.
"Forgot to mention, this isn't my district. I'm leaving in a bit."
"You just had to take on this exhausting job. Now you know how miserable it is, right?"
Sampo shrugged helplessly.
"A paradise is only a paradise when everyone's willing to work for it."
"All it takes is a few people stirring things up and spreading unease. Sooner or later, it'll fall apart."
Sparkle said impatiently,
"Obviously. I know that."
"You should be telling Chicken-Wing Boy, not me."
"And look at that other guy. He beat someone up right on The Family's turf without a care in the world. I'm exhausted."
"If they'd made a little less noise and a little less of a spectacle, smoothing this over wouldn't be hard. We could just put out a statement."
"But now the entire film park's been blown away..."
Sampo nodded slightly, unwilling to listen to any more of Sparkle's complaints.
"All right, all right. I still need to make a living in Penacony, so I'm off to work. Good luck with this."
Sparkle watched Sampo leave, then reluctantly went back to her thankless task.
As she walked through the crowd, someone at the roadside suddenly called out to her.
"Miss... Robin?"
"Are you Miss Robin, the superstar known across the universe?!"
"...?" Sparkle turned to the guest with a gentle smile.
