Old Jack's voice was filled with terror.
"I am the beast you people called someone who cavorted with Soul Beasts."
Cold killing intent surged in Tang Hao's eyes, and the hatred in his voice nearly overflowed.
"My son is the half-human, half-beast mongrel you people called a dog bastard."
Tang Hao slowly raised the Clear Sky Hammer, aiming its head at Peter, who had laughed the most smugly earlier.

Tang Hao shook his head wildly, his eyes full of incredulous panic and resistance.
He truly looked down on those mud-legged villagers of Sacred Soul Village from the bottom of his heart, but personally slaughtering the villagers was simply absurd.
This was the hiding place he had found only after pouring in so much effort. How could he lose his mind over a momentary fit of rage and destroy his only retreat?

Tang San keenly caught that trace of aura on Tang Hao in the Heavenly Screen, instantly understanding where the problem lay.

Tang Hao's eyes widened sharply, his tone filled with shock and confusion.
