Background / History
Tang San is a reincarnated version of himself from twenty years later, returning to childhood after having already achieved Dual God Integration. Rather than abandoning his former route, he resolves to repeat it while improving its weak points, especially his early Spirit Ring choices. 74
His father, Tang Hao, secretly entrusted him to Yu Xiaogang after seeking information on mind-controlling Martial Souls and Qian Cheng. Tang San overheard the arrangement and realized that Yu Xiaogang had become his foster father. 66 Although he initially considers killing Yu Xiaogang after being struck for challenging his theories, Tang San suppresses the impulse because Yu Xiaogang's death would draw attention from Bibi Dong and obstruct Tang San's plans. 74 75
Qian Cheng later tells Tang San that the Clear Sky Sect was annihilated during his infancy and that Tang Hao was killed. These losses, alongside the loss of Xiao Wu, become central to Tang San's hostility toward Martial Soul Hall and the Sacred Spirit Sect. 114 160 198
Personality
Tang San is highly calculating when outmatched. He repeatedly restrains open hostility toward stronger opponents, such as Yu Xiaogang and Qian Cheng, while preserving his secrets and waiting for a better opportunity. 75 114 He also measures choices against future gains: he accepts imperfect Spirit Ring configurations because he believes they can later be replaced through divine examinations. 75
He is a capable battlefield planner who prioritizes team utility when necessary. He selects the Cave Spider as a prospective fourth ring for its group-control potential rather than pursuing a purely offensive option, designs tactics around Ma Hongjun against ice-type opponents, and proposes a Four-in-One Spirit Avatar Fusion Skill for his team. 160 173 182
Humiliation and perceived disrespect strongly affect him. Being ignored, slapped, mocked, or disadvantaged in battle repeatedly provokes intense anger, particularly when others insult his lineage, appearance, or status. 175 179 195 His pragmatism can also turn ruthless: he conspires with Tang Hao to have Old Jack, Peter, and A Niu killed through an apparent accident rather than acting directly. 335
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang San possesses the Blue Silver Grass/Blue Silver Emperor and Clear Sky Hammer Martial Souls. His twin-Martial-Soul constitution lets him develop Spirit Rings separately, but he stresses that this path still has strict physical limits. 160 180 191
- His Blue Silver Grass can be strengthened through cultivation among dense Blue Silver Grass, improving his control over it. 82
- After absorbing multiple rings, his Blue Silver Grass gains toxicity, corrosiveness, paralysis, and toughness comparable to fine-steel chains. 116
- His Blue Silver Grass is vulnerable to ice- and fire-attribute Spirit Masters. 182
- His Clear Sky Hammer can execute the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer, Chaotic Wind, and Collapse Art. 74 194
- He uses the hammer's escalating impact force to contest Feng Xiaotian's Ice Fire Consecutive Slash. 194
- Twin-Martial-Soul ring absorption must remain within specific age limits; exceeding them risks bodily explosion or cultivation problems. 191
Mysterious Heaven Skill and Movement Techniques
Tang San cultivates the Mysterious Heaven Skill, which he describes as a technique even God Kings use. He shares it with the Slime Academy members to improve their cultivation. 117 160
- Uses the Mysterious Heaven Skill to support his hammer techniques under pressure. 117
- Employs Purple Demon Eyes and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track against Bai Lan. 116
- His lack of flight remains a major tactical limitation against aerial opponents before reaching the Titled Douluo realm. 194
Eight Spider Lances
An External Spirit Bone associated with the 2,000-year Human-Faced Demon Spider manifests as eight deep-blue spider legs from Tang San's back. 107
- Stabilizes his body under Ye Muyun's pressure. 107
- Helps him accelerate fusion with the newly formed External Spirit Bone. 107
Divine Power
After identifying inheritance sites for several gods, Tang San claims the Asura God inheritance for himself and ultimately appears as a Dual God. 222 224
- Wields Asura and Rakshasa Divine Power simultaneously. 224
- Uses Rakshasa Death Ray, Asura Judgment, and Asura Wheel Slash against Qian Cheng. 230
- Can enter Asura God Mode, though a clash with Shui Bing'er leaves him injured. 300
- His divine artifacts and full defensive output fail against Qian Cheng's Annihilation of the Five Elements; Qian Cheng states he used only ten percent of his strength. 231
Resurrection
Tang San returns to life half a month after Qian Renxue kills him during the Spirit Master Competition, emerging from a mass grave outside a village. 197 198
- The method behind his return is not explained in the documented events. 198
- He later uses his return to rally Shrek survivors around divine inheritances as a means to oppose Martial Soul Hall. 222
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Asura Demon Sword — Divine sword wielded in Tang San's right hand after achieving Dual God Integration; shattered by Qian Cheng's attack. 224 231
- Rakshasa Demon Scythe — Divine scythe wielded in Tang San's left hand; shattered alongside the Asura Demon Sword. 224 231
- Gold medal of the Heaven Dou Crown Prince — Given by Xue Qinghe as a token Tang San may use to request future assistance. 180
Relationships
- Tang Hao — Biological father. Tang Hao entrusted Tang San to Yu Xiaogang, and the two later cooperate in Tang San's scheme against Old Jack, Peter, and A Niu. 66 335
- Ah Yin — Biological mother; Tang San's soul-beast heritage is a recurring source of conflict and insult from others. 180 290
- Yu Xiaogang — Foster father and teacher. Their relationship is strained by Yu Xiaogang's control over Tang San's cultivation decisions and Tang San's private resentment. 66 74 75
- Xiao Wu — Tang San's beloved companion. Her capture, departure, and later presumed death fuel much of his revenge-driven resolve. 105 112 198
- Flender — Dean and ally. Tang San relies on him for support in the Blue Silver Forest and later assigns him the God of Speed inheritance site. 113 222
- Dai Mubai and Oscar — Shrek teammates who follow Tang San's tactical leadership; Tang San assigns them the God of War and God of Food inheritances respectively. 182 222
- Tang Chen — Great-grandfather. Tang San identifies him as being in the City of Slaughter and seeks his potential aid against Martial Soul Hall. 180
- Qian Cheng — Primary enemy responsible for the destruction of Tang San's family and sect. Qian Cheng later defeats Tang San as a Dual God and forces his soul into a stray dog's body in the First Timeline. 114 231 365
- Qian Renxue — Hostile rival who publicly humiliates Tang San and kills him during the Spirit Master Competition. 195 197
- Bai Lan — Opponent who uses abilities resembling Tang San's Blue Silver and Clear Sky techniques, provoking him into battle. 116 117
- Ning Fengzhi and Xue Qinghe — Potential political allies against Martial Soul Hall, though Tang San's conduct initially creates open hostility between them. 179 180
Story Role / Major Arcs

Blue Silver Forest Conflict
After Xiao Wu is taken, Tang San searches for the Blue Silver Forest in hopes of finding a path to her. There he encounters Qian Cheng and Bai Lan, witnesses the Blue Silver King's death, and is overwhelmed by enemies far beyond his current level. 112 113 114
Shrek Academy and the Spirit Master Competition
Tang San becomes the tactical center of the Slime Academy team, promotes a Four-in-One fusion skill, and develops strategies for stronger academy teams. He obtains powerful Ten Thousand Year rings for his Clear Sky Hammer and reaches the Soul King realm before fighting Feng Xiaotian. 173 182 191 194

Dual God Assault and First Timeline Defeat

The Heavenly Curtain later identifies this outcome as Tang San's First Timeline fate, revealing that the dog endured years of hunger, cold, and abuse before dying of old age. 365
Heavenly Curtain Events
During the Heavenly Curtain quizzes, Tang San is affiliated with the Tang Sect faction and is addressed as Lord Sea God. He is publicly pressured by its punishments, including severing five of his own fingers to substitute for a punishment directed at Ah Yin. 261 290
He later appears in conflicts involving First Timeline powerhouses, where his Asura God Mode is checked by Shui Bing'er's Ice Jade Sword. 300
