"Father!"
Tang San suddenly stepped forward and gripped Tang Hao's arm tightly.
"Little San, what are you doing?"
Tang Hao frowned, a trace of confusion in his eyes.
No one knew a son better than his father. He understood his own son all too well.
Little San had always been meticulous. He would never fall out with him over a few lowly commoners.
There had to be something fishy going on.
"Three deaths and one life don't mean you have to do it yourself."
Tang San lowered his voice, an imperceptible curve forming at the corner of his lips.
"You mean..."
Tang Hao's eyes lit up as he instantly understood Tang San's intent. Without hesitation, he put away the Clear Sky Hammer.
"Little San, you truly are the most promising child from our Sacred Soul Village!"
Seeing Tang Hao put away his weapon, Old Jack immediately breathed a sigh of relief. A smile of surviving a calamity appeared on his face as he repeatedly thanked Tang San.
"Yes, yes, yes! Little San, you're the best! It's all thanks to you!"
Peter wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, his face plastered with a fawning smile.
"Little San, I..."
Ah Niu had just begun to offer his thanks.
When three blazing crimson flames suddenly shot out from nearby.
Like three fire dragons, they instantly engulfed the three of them.
"Ah! It hurts!"
"Save me! Someone save me!"
"Tang Hao! Tang San! You can't just stand there and watch us die!"
Miserable screams instantly rang through the sky. The three writhed and struggled in the flames, their skin sizzling as it burned and gave off a scorched stench.
Yet no one present moved a muscle.
In mere moments, Old Jack, Peter, and Ah Niu were burned into a pile of black ash.
