Taking the Enhancement Potion

In the basement, Lu Yan sat on the ground meditating, slowly recovering his mental energy as he prepared to consume the strengthening potion in his best possible state.

The strengthening potion, as the name implies, is used to reinforce the physical body. It is quite common in the Wizard World; any official wizard can brew it to strengthen their own physique or to cultivate knight attendants.

The difficulty, however, lies in the ingredients for the strengthening potion, none of which can be found in the Naruto World. Lu Yan had to search for substitutes with similar medicinal properties, which immediately spiked the difficulty. If not for the Sharingan's ability to observe at a microscopic level, Lu Yan might not have even been able to gather the substitute materials, let alone brew the potion.

Take the Senju Tree sap, for example. It is harvested from trees created by Senju Hashirama using Wood Release. Its vitality is incredibly vigorous, yet the people of Konoha Village merely view it as a high-end timber for building furniture.

When Lu Yan used his Sharingan to discover its potent life force, he used unique wizard techniques to extract the essence of the Senju Tree, turning it into a precious material that served as a substitute for the blood of a treant.

"Ready."

After two hours of meditation, Lu Yan stood up, looking refreshed. He walked to the experimental table, picked up the test tube glowing with a purple light, walked a short distance away, sat cross-legged, and downed the strengthening potion in one gulp.

The potion felt icy cold upon entering his mouth, carrying a hint of sweetness, but once it reached his stomach, it burned through his entire body like a ball of fire. Lu Yan suppressed the agonizing heat, using his spiritual energy to wrap around the scorching medicinal properties, carefully separating small portions to flow through his blood and qi to the rest of his body.

It took a full five hours, until the sky was beginning to brighten, for Lu Yan to finish digesting the potion's effects.

Visibly, Lu Yan's height increased by five centimeters, and his body continuously expanded and contracted until it finally became incredibly toned and compact.

"Phew, that feels good."

Lu Yan stretched, his bones popping with a series of sharp cracks as he stood up from the floor.

Although any official wizard can brew this strengthening potion, its efficacy is not low; even a peak Great Knight can use it to break through their limits and truly achieve the transcendent stage.

However, because the energy is so volatile, it is a lethal poison to ordinary people and knights of lower ranks, and not even a drop can be touched.

"Water Mirror Technique."

Lu Yan formed a hand seal, and a mirror made of water suddenly appeared in the air, smooth and reflective. Lu Yan stood before the mirror, looking at his reflection. Although he was only nine years old, children in the Naruto World generally developed quickly, and Lu Yan was already 1.65 meters tall. Through some testing, Lu Yan found that he could use the unknown energy within the stone bead to travel and record coordinates. The stone bead would slowly recover this energy, but the rate of recovery was not fast.

Beyond that, Lu Yan could not analyze anything else. The stone bead seemed to have a consciousness, but it ignored him; whenever Lu Yan tried to input his own energy, it would disdainfully spit it back out.

In the Wizard World, due to his insufficient strength, Lu Yan had planned to wait until he successfully promoted to an official wizard before traveling again, but he unexpectedly died and his soul transmigrated to the Naruto World.

This time, Lu Yan was prepared to take the initiative, seeking resources to strengthen himself, change his own fate, and alter the destinies of the Uchiha Clan and those around him.

"Water, food, clothes, explosive tags, military rations, kunai, healing liquid, another bottle of strengthening potion, gold and silver, various materials—that should be enough."

After taking inventory of the supplies in the Kamui Dimension, he found that everything was ready. Here, Lu Yan had to thank Danzo for his generous sponsorship; he really was a great guy.

After tidying up the basement and erasing any traces, Lu Yan went to his bedroom, preparing to dress up carefully to avoid being discovered due to his sudden changes.

"It's mainly the height, but I've been slowly increasing the height of my shoe inserts, so removing them should be about right. Also, my build is sturdier than before, so I'll need to switch to a looser outfit."

Lu Yan carefully adjusted his appearance in the mirror, trying to ensure he didn't look too different from before.

When Lu Yan arrived at the gate, Namikaze Minato, Kakashi, and Rin were already there. Lu Yan quickly joined them, and after presenting their mission scroll to the ninja at the gate, they headed out of the village.

After galloping for half a day, the view was filled with tall, dense forests. Seeing that Rin was gradually becoming exhausted, Lu Yan called out to Namikaze Minato, who was in the lead: "Teacher, let's take a break."

Namikaze Minato looked back and noticed Rin's fatigue, so he nodded and stopped, saying: "Rest here for an hour."

After eating and drinking their fill, the group gathered together, and Namikaze Minato began to explain the mission to his students: "Ever since the Third Kazekage died, Sunagakure and our Konoha have had constant friction. Now, they have even started stationing troops near our borders. This time, we are going to the border to gather intelligence and clarify the strength of their stationed forces. Lu Yan, Kakashi, and Rin replied in unison.

After three days of urgent travel, Lu Yan and the others were covered in dust, finally arriving at a small town near the border of the Land of Wind.

"Sunagakure ninjas will stop at the town ahead to replenish supplies. The situation inside is complex, and there are spies from various ninja villages. It would be too conspicuous for us to enter like this; we must enter in separate groups."

As Namikaze Minato spoke, he turned around, handed two kunai engraved with seals to Kakashi and Lu Yan, and said in a low voice: "Obito, you and Rin go in as a group. Kakashi and I will go in separately. If you encounter danger, I will appear immediately."

A perfect opportunity. Lu Yan's eyes lit up, and he said righteously to Namikaze Minato: "Teacher, I think it would be better for Kakashi and Rin to be in a group. He has been mentally distracted lately, and it would be better for Rin to look after him."

"Then change your disguises. Everyone, move out and be careful." As soon as Namikaze Minato finished speaking, he darted forward.

The three of them also split up and darted off in two other directions.
