Vegeta could have sensed even an ordinary person standing behind him, let alone someone as powerful as Frieza.

Seeing that Vegeta hadn't fallen for his trick, Dodoria gritted his teeth, his expression growing uglier.

Vegeta shot forward like a phantom, raised his hand, and slapped Dodoria hard across his rough, broad face.

Vegeta slapped him again.

"Tell me, Dodoria, are you Zarbon's lapdog now? Why did he send a useless fool like you instead of coming himself?" Vegeta asked with a smile.

"Heh... Zarbon happened to be busy, so Lord Frieza sent me instead," Dodoria replied with a chuckle, struggling to calm himself down.

"All right, you can die now." As Vegeta finished speaking, his power suddenly surged, and a mass of powerful energy gathered in his palm.

Energy blast!

Seeing Vegeta unleash an energy blast, Dodoria's face went pale. He hurriedly waved both hands. "Vegeta, wait! Wait! I have something to say!"

"Oh? Go ahead." Vegeta was bored anyway, and having Dodoria around to spar with wasn't a bad way to pass the time. So he was in no hurry to attack.

"If I tell you, you'll let me go, right?" Dodoria asked in a low voice.

Vegeta smiled without answering.

"Fine, I'll tell you first." Dodoria gathered his thoughts before explaining, "Vegeta, you don't know yet, do you? Lord Frieza plans to wipe out all you Saiyans. It's precisely because Saiyans like you are increasing their power levels faster and faster, to the point where you're threatening his position. Heh, before long, Lord Frieza will go to Planet Vegeta himself and exterminate every last one of you."

Vegeta smiled faintly. He already knew all this. Why did he need Dodoria wasting his breath telling him?

"Little Prince Vegeta, you must be worried about your parents, huh? Heh, you'd better stay here and think hard about how you're going to save your people. I'll be off now. Until we meet again." With that, Dodoria turned to leave, hoping to seize this chance to get out of there fast.

Getting killed by Vegeta here would be fucking awful.

Just as Dodoria was flying along smugly, his body jolted, and he came to an abrupt stop.

He had discovered that Vegeta had somehow appeared right in front of him.

"All right, you can die now." Vegeta smiled faintly, and the energy blast he had gathered earlier flared to life again.

"You... Vegeta, you'd better not push me!" Dodoria said through gritted teeth.

"You talk too much." Vegeta said no more. With a sweep of one hand, he sent the energy blast hurtling toward Dodoria.

Boom!

A violent storm erupted, and in the next instant, Vegeta froze.

He suddenly sensed Dodoria's energy rising steadily, while the power within his body increased severalfold.
